A day out with Saltyhookfishing Charters is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to explore the inshore and nearshore waters of Florida's west coast. These shallow waters offer exciting fishing opportunities, and this boat will have all you need for a fun-filled adventure with your family or friends. Captain Torey Long is an experienced angler who has been fishing his entire life. His father introduced him to the waters when Torey was a young boy and he has never looked back.

All you have to do is choose a trip that suits you best and join Capt. Torey on his 23' Skeeter bay boat. This vessel was built in 2016 and comes powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine. Once on board, you will find everything that is needed for a comfortable and productive day on the water, including ice, water, Penn and Shimano gear, two livewells, and enough room for up to six anglers.

Saltyhook Charters operates all year round. If you're a fan of the 'Silver King,' Tarpon fishing is best in springtime. The list of your potential catches includes Grouper, Redfish, Snapper, Seatrout, Snook, and Spanish Mackerel. You'll be trolling behind the boat, mainly, and you'll snap into action upon hearing the reels screech. Try your hand, also, at popping or jigging, and even bottom fish along the reefs for maximum effect.

For Capt. Torey, the best part of the job is being out on the water and making sure everyone has fun. He would love to see you match his record of catching a Snook of 42 inches, so come and put your skills to the test. Feel free to pack your lunch and drinks with you – everything else will be included in the price, so get ready for a fun day out. Saltyhook Charters is calling you aboard.

Top Notch Fishing Guide! We’ll Be Back!
Half Day Trip (AM) on September 15, 20242 adults

Great day on the water today with Captain Torey! Highly recommend Captain Torey for an enjoyable, professional and fun outing! Very helpful and experienced with making you feel comfortable in a fishing experience, especially if you are new in the sport. For those of you that may consider yourselves more experienced but not familiar with the local area, Captain Torey will put you on the spot, as he's been fishing these parts since he was a young boy. Thanks Torey.... enjoyed the outing and look forward to another outing with you in the near future. Best regards, John and Bill

Saltyhook Fishing Experience
Half Day Trip (AM) on December 7, 20243 adults

Our group of 3 had a great experience fishing with Captain Torey and Saltyhook Fishing. We caught more fish than I could count at each of several locations that he took us to. And, we caught enough fish to enjoy a fish fry at the place we were staying. Had a great time and I would highly recommend his boat to anyone looking to have fun fishing in South West Florida.

Having fished with his dad while growing up, Captain Torey was hooked right away. He's proud of every catch he makes, but particularly the 42' Snook he once managed to reel in. With such expertise, you're in safe hands with Capt. Torey, who has been running charters since 2016. He loves to get his clients on the fish and making the catch of their dreams.
