Texas is blessed with many excellent freshwater lakes teeming with fish. Bassquatch Fishing wants you to take full advantage of that, by putting you on the hottest action in the Lone Star state!
Captain Ander Meine invites you to join him for this angling extravaganza on board his 19’ Nitro. It’s a state-of-the-art bass fishing boat thanks to the sleek hull design – it can navigate the shallows easily. No fish is out of reach! A 150 HP Mercury outboard engine lets the boat develop a maximum cruising speed of 56 knots. You’ll be on top of your prey in no time – the fish are usually just minutes away from the dock.
Bring your best fishing buddy and join Capt. Ander in fishing the many lakes around Austin. You can pick and choose from Lake Austin, Bastrop, Buchanan, Belton, Georgetown, Inks, Travis, and many others. Contact the captain in advance to let him know what your skill level and preference is and he’ll recommend a fishery.
The main targets with Bassquatch Fishing are all A-listers of freshwater fishing: Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass. You’ll hook up these hard-fighting beasts on light or heavy spin tackle. The captain will supply you with all the required gear, but you’re free to bring your lucky rod.
You can keep the fish you catch but Capt. Ander encourages you to release it. That way you’ll have more fish to hook up next year!
Whether you’re trying to get your kid to fall in love with fishing or you’re chasing your next personal best, Capt. Ander has a trip for you. Book a trip with Bassquatch Fishing today and cast off into the gorgeous waters of Texas!
Please note that during the summer months, Capt. Ander doesn’t run weekend evening trips on Travis.
