Hop on board their beautiful 36' Doqueve jet boat. This boat is powered by twin 500 HP Yanmar engines, allowing you to cover more ground quickly. The best spots for Tuna fishing are on the 10-hour trip up to 30 miles offshore, which can take up to 2 hours to reach.
This boat is fully equipped with everything you could ever need for a comfortable and enjoyable fishing experience. The boat is decked out with full safety and navigational equipment and has a private restroom, kitchen, and bedrooms. You can even charge your iPhone or Android phone on board! There are enough snorkeling masks for everyone to take a dip simultaneously too.
When fishing, you'll mostly be targeting Tuna. The best time for this is between March and November. Apart from 2 weeks at the end of June, Bluefin Tuna is always catch and release. Other species you'll be targeting include White Marlin, Spearfish, Albacore and Bigeye Tuna, Thresher Shark, Amberjack, Barracuda, and plenty more. There is even a chance of catching Swordfish, but you'll need to be highly skilled for that!
Everything is included in the price of the trip. Every angler on board will have a rod provided for them. There are Shimano rods of 30, 50, and 150 lb, and 50 lb Penn rods. Food and drinks are provided on each trip, as well as your fishing license for the day. If you wish to use live bait, please request this before the day, and the captain will organize it for you.

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Angelausflug in La Manga! Der Kapitän ist super erfahren, kennt das Meer und die Gegend wirklich sehr gut und hat sich unglaublich viel Mühe gegeben, uns einen schönen Tag zu ermöglichen. Wir hatten auch Erfolg und konnten einen Fisch fangen, aber eigentlich war schon der gesamte Ausflug ein Erlebnis für sich. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass die Tour auch absolut familientauglich ist. Wir waren mit Kindern unterwegs und der Kapitän ist toll auf sie eingegangen, hat alles erklärt und dafür gesorgt, dass alle Spaß hatten. Man merkt einfach, dass hier sehr viel Erfahrung und Leidenschaft fürs Angeln vorhanden ist. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Von uns ganz klare 5 Sterne und eine absolute Empfehlung! Wenn wir wieder in La Manga sind, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Caught 3 large Tunas. Fabulous birthday gift, spent with keen fishermen friends! Captain Pedro made the day, he was a great fun guy, and very informative. He was very helpful and experienced, we had such a good time.
Me and some friends (9 in total) tried the 5 hours half day fishing tour last week (all with little or no experience). Pedro was really helpful in everything, from finding the boat on arrival to showing us how to use the rods and what to look out for. Once we had a few supervised goes, he allowed us to get on with it for ourselves which was great (we caught 30+ fish). Couldnt recommend the charter enough aswell as Pedro, a top man! Will definetly book again on my next visit.
Our recent fishing trip with Santa Cruz Charters was an adventure to remember! We decided to take a chance and try our luck at catching some tuna, a first-time experience for us. Although the tuna eluded us, we had an absolutely fantastic time. In the last hour of the trip, we switched gears and tried some bottom fishing, which added to the excitement of the day. One of the highlights was cooling off with a refreshing plunge into the sea. It was a perfect way to end our day on the water. An excellent fishing adventure with Jose and his team, a trophy catch, 2 huge tunas, and a sea of emotions! If we weren't limited by time, it would have been up to 10 tuna's. Jose is a very pleasant and experienced captain, providing amazing emotions and a great time!

Captain Pedro has been on the sea all his life. He started fishing in the Canary Islands many years ago. He has participated in many deep sea fishing competitions at a national level and has been very successful in these. The biggest fish he's ever caught is 370 kg Bluefin Tuna in Cartagena, Murcia – he was very proud of this catch! He loves teaching children and loves to see them catch their first fish. He'll gladly let the kids play 'the captain' so you know the whole family will love going fishing with him.
