Capt. Mark has studied and understands the habits and movement of game fish, how they react, and what it takes to catch them. Whether you're in the mood to catch colossal Walleye on the St.Clair River, or you'd rather chase giant Muskies on Lake St.Clair, your guide will put you on the hottest bite and make sure you catch something that will earn you your bragging rights.
Team Treble Maker is no newcomer to putting big fish in the boat, and they have perfected the trolling technique that allows them to snatch monster Muskies. They also offer trips with the focus on jigging and casting, so whatever your preferred technique is, they will have an expedition for you. Bear in mind that Muskellunge is strictly catch and release on this charter.
To get to the most productive fishing grounds, Capt. Mark has a 24' Skeeter Bay boat with the capacity to take out up to 4 anglers. She's a lean fishing machine, perfectly suited for river and lake fishing thanks to her 250 HP Mercury engine.
On board, you'll find rods, reels, and tackle you'll use, as well as pedestal seats to help you battle that big fish, and a cooler to keep the fruits of your hard work fresh. There's a wireless trolling motor for the moments when you're casting your line in the shallows, and you need to be super quiet.
If you'd like to have your catch cleaned and filleted, the captain can arrange it for you for a small additional charge. Everything is taken care of, you just need to bring your fishing license, drinks, and snacks.

How else do you learn where the muskies are until you hire an experience muskie captain?! Mark was fun to fish with and talk to. Who knew how much we had in common...I mean 10 hours on a boat! Totally coming back just a matter of planning!

We had a great time and caught some really nice fish. I would recommend Captain Mark Kornosky to anyone who wants to fish southeast Michigan.
1/2 day trip out for some Walleye and Muskie. Capt. Mark was excellent, was asked to do a combo trip for Walleye and Muskie for a 10 yr old that wanted to catch every fish on his first trip onto Lake St. Clair. Capt Mark not only got Walleye and a Muskie of a lifetime but also managed to land 4 Small-mouth Bass. Capt. Mark was awesome and he taught and showed a very high energy kid everything he could about fishing. So for anyone looking for the trip to maybe just go out and have a good time or if your thinking of taking a child that really has no fishing experience, I think Capt. Mark is an excellent choice. He worked none stop to get fish into the boat and still took the time to share all he could about fishing. We had a great time and I am already being asked "when can we go do this again". The boat was great lots of room, rides well as we had a rough day on the lake with some high winds. I will be back ! Karl Buchholz Auburn Hills, MI
