Step on board “Mahi Mahi,” a 23’ Sea Ray sportfishing boat, powered by twin Mercury SeaPro engines with a combined output of 300 HP. The boat is equipped with a Garmin GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, and Penn international downriggers. This beautiful boat also boasts a flybridge, a sundeck area, and one bathroom.
The fish you will be targeting depend on the season and which trip you choose. Possible species included Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Barracuda, Wahoo, Grouper, and many more.
Everything for a successful fishing trip is provided. In order to ensure the best fishing experience possible, Mahi Mahi is outfitted with nothing but tournament-grade tackle, with Shimano 25 reels and great offshore rods, as well as a variety of lures.
On board are many drinks, including beer, water, and soda, but you are welcome to bring along your own food and other drink if you wish. The fishing license for all anglers is included in the price. Please note, there is a $5 per person additional charge to cover the marina docking fees.
The crew will work tirelessly to teach you the tricks of the trade and take you to all the best spots, making sure you get exactly what you desire from your fishing trip with Chartiers Del Mar.

Jorge and Mickey were great. They worked very hard to put us on the fish at every location. Even tried to make our sunrise set off out of the marina special since it was our honeymoon. And you can immediately reap your rewards of catching a fish with some fresh ceviche. They also cleaned our barracuda so we could have it cooked at our resort!

We had to change boats due to mechanical issues, the boat was a little uncomfortable but we got it done. Overall the fishing experience was A+ , but the transactions of money overall was very inconvenient, trying to get cash from ATM's was an issue, from stores was an issue, in past fishing trips we have taken internationally we paid all prior so that way it was no issues to hinder the trip. Also I think if you are going to filet fish for your guest , have bags available. Thanks for the experience

Great trip and experience with Captain Jorge and Felipe. It was a rough day and he told is in advance as it was windy, ended up catching 10 bonitas and a blackfin tuna. Will call them again when we are back in Cancun to catch that Mahi Mahi we are after. Thank you my son was so happy !!
