Welcome to Average Guy Adventures Guide Service where you get to experience one of the most fun and exciting water activities – Salmon fishing. Captain Charlie Blish has been fishing Lake Michigan most of his life and he loves to share his ample experience with everyone on board.
With this charter, we will troll lines along the Manitowoc and Two Rivers shoreline in Wisconsin, where you can catch a rich variety of fish. The stars of the show are Coho and Chinook Salmon, of course, and they often come in impressive sizes. You can also look forward to finding Lake and Brown Trout at the end of your line, and let's not forget about Steelhead, that will not only give you a proper fight, but it's also excellent to eat.
The place where the fishing magic happens is a 37' Wellcraft sportfisher fitted with twin 454 HP Mercruiser engines. The boat has been freshly restored in 2018 and is spacious enough to accommodate up to 6 anglers that can fish simultaneously.
The vessel sports a private bathroom, a resting area with beds, a galley, and there's air conditioning in the cabin. All these commodities mean you will have a pleasant ride to the best bite of the day. Capt. Charlie also provides Okuma rods and reels for your trip, and an assortment of lures you can use.
In case you need any assistance, you will have a capable first mate on board with you, and tips are always welcome for all his hard work. He will also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day so that you can enjoy it as soon as you're off the boat. Bring your kids with you for a memorable family day, your guide will have appropriate life jackets for them.

He was fantastic with my 11-year-old Granddaughter (who now espiers to be his 1st Mate) and the rest of our family. His professionalism, patience, and passion for what he does made this a trip we’ll never forget. Highly recommended!!

We ended up finding fish where he thought they’d be and others who called him up were soon on the horizon and benefiting from Charlie’s strategy. He was incredible with our kids who each reeled in a couple fish, he was easy to talk to, and we helped him when we could since he was solo that day. Taught me a bit about the various setups, was patient with tangled lines if they happened, and made the day a great one. Looking forward to next year or sooner.

The lake temperatures were warmer than normal because of the prevailing south winds. This made the fishing a little slow, but we ended up with more hits than most of the other boats out on the water. This showed their understanding of the lake and their determination to get you hooked on as many fish as possible. Will book with them again.

Hi! I'm Captain Charlie Blish. Being a 10 year military veteran, I'm one of those guys that needs to keep busy, so being outdoors and enjoying those types of activities have always appealed to me. As a child I have very fond memories of going fishing with my uncle and having him teach me the craft. It really didn't matter what type of fishing or what fish we were after, I always knew that it would be fun, whether we caught fish or not. That is a testament to him and how he would make every trip an adventure. This is my main goal, make every trip we take an adventure. I believe that if we are having fun, the fish will come. We absolutely love having children on board. There are few things better than to see a child's eyes light up once they get a fish that is almost pulling the rod out of their hands. We take pride in our family values, and believe this is key to our future. My uncle did it for me, I would be honored if you would let me help you do it for your children.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
