Cajun Culture Fishing Adventures
Come and taste authentic south Louisana fishing – Cajun style! Based out of Venice, Cajun Culture is on the Mississippi and ready to head up to the lakes to experience the Gulf’s inshore waters. A Venice native, Captain Herman Demoll is the 5th in a line of fishermen in his family. Having grown up and lived his life on these waters, he’s just the guy to take experienced anglers to the biggest fish, and to show novices the tricks of the trade.
The waters get very shallow, so you’ll need an agile vessel to navigate through them. Capt. Herman’s light 24’ Pathfinder fishing boat is just that. She’ll navigate waters as shallow as just 3 inches, which you’ll see for yourself as you hit the mud flats. Powered by a 300 hp Yamaha four-stroke, she’ll cut across the open water at great speeds. A true fishing vessel, she comes equipped with all you need for a productive day out.
Work your way around the twists and turns of the Mississippi and her numerous inlets. While fishing the bottoms, try jigging, popping, or spinning to attract the bite, and reel in a prized species. Experienced anglers can take advantage of fly fishing trips – just make sure to bring your own equipment. From delicious Flounder to huge Black Drum, exciting Redfish to stunning Sheepshead, and Trout – you’re in for a treat all year-round.
Everything’s in close proximity, so you can mix it up a bit and fish the lake and the river. Wherever you go, the exciting fish won’t be far away and Capt. Herman knows exactly where they like to hide. With a cleaning and filleting service provided at the end of the trip, all that’s left for you to do is bring some drinks and snacks along to put in the onboard cooler and get ready to have some fun with Cajun Culture. Take advantage of these wondrous waters!
