JP's Fishing Charters II
South Florida is known for its incredible angling opportunities – especially when it comes to the plentiful fishing grounds of the seriously shallow flats and backcountry! If you’ve always wanted to try out some top-notch Floridian-style fishing, or want to hook the “Florida Grand Slam” of Bonefish, Tarpon, and Permit, come aboard JP’s Fishing Charters and join Captain JP Prieto for an exciting day on Biscayne Bay’s famous waters.
Capt. JP was born and raised in Miami, so it’s safe to say that he knows a thing or two about this vibrant and diverse fishery. He offers guests of all ages and abilities the chance to explore these plentiful inshore waters, which are home to a huge host of world-famous saltwater superstars. Capt. JP specializes in fishing with artificial lures – he loves the challenge it offers! He’s also highly skilled in bait fishing, and will find you the perfect angling technique to suit your skill level.
Flats fishing calls for a boat that’s up to the task of cruising seriously skinny and shallow waters – Capt. JP’s 17’ Hell’s Bay Professional skiff fits the bill perfectly. She can accommodate 2 guests, and is decked out with all the necessary navigational and safety gear to provide a smooth and comfortable journey. On board, you’ll also find a wireless trolling motor that allows you to silently sneak up on your catch.
Captain JP will have you trying out a variety of techniques, including spinning, jigging, and popping, to reel in a whole host of species. You’ll have the chance to battle game fish such as Tarpon, Snook, Permit, and Bonefish, as well as hooking a variety of Snapper, and whatever else happens to be biting. Your captain will be on hand to show you his favorite tips, and to teach you the tricks of the trade!
Your trip includes top-of-the-line rods and reels, live and artifical bait, tackle, and a valid fishing license for all guests. Come aboard JP’s Fishing Charters and get ready for a true Floridian-style flats fishing adventure!
