Their 36’ Bertram is a luxurious sportfishing boat which will take you fishing in comfort and style. Powered by twin Yanmar engines, this vessel has the total strength of an astonishing 1,000 HP that will grant you more time to catch the fish of your dreams. Aside from safety and navigational equipment, this boat also has air conditioned, modern lounge areas and a clean private bathroom. A high Definition GoPro camera is there to capture the most exciting moments, so you can proudly share them with your friends.
Captain Michael offers both inshore and offshore trips. Inshore trips are close to the beach and you are most likely to catch Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel, and Jack Crevalle. The real treat of inshore fishing is Snook. Not only it will keep up a strenuous and exciting fight, it is also one of the most delicious fish in the world.
Offshore trips are reserved for trophy specimens and trolling. There is nothing more exciting than when a Sailfish or Marlin starts biting! You don’t have to be a pro to start feeling like one.
The first mate will clean, fillet, and bag your catch, and after the trip you can take it to any nearby restaurant and they will prepare it for you. Please take Costa Rica’s regulations into consideration, since some fish species have to be released for preservation. The crew will also prepare snacks and drinks before the trip.

Half Day Offshore
We had some mega bites!
We had a great experience with captain michael and his crew. We had pretty rough seas, but that of course isnt in anyones control when you book it on a trip a month out. The crew made their best to accommodate my kids. We rode out and back slower to make it more tolerable. We caught three sailfish, while the other boats out that morning communicated they didnt catch anything. Call it skill or luck but they put us on em! Plenty of cold beverages, fresh fruit, and fresh fish for lunch. I would absolutely book with Mega bite again!

Deep sea excursion
Captain and mates were on time to start the day. We actually went out a few minutes early. Day started with hard rain on ride out in pockets but cleared up when we started fishing. Produced 13-15 yellow fin tuna and 1 blue marlin in 3/4 day fishing. Lunch (fresh caught tuna!) was incredible and prepared like a quality restaurant. I would encourage many others to give this a try even if you have not gone deep sea fishing before. View of Costa Rica on the return trip is beautiful as well.

Great Experience
We had a great day fishing with the family. Started catching right right away. The captain and crew was awesome! They took good care for us, even when a few of my kids were feeling sick, they helped to make sure they were comfortable. No chicken tonight! Ended the day with some great tuna for Dinner!

8 Sailfish!
3/4 day trip with captain Brandon and crew. They were fantastic! Once the fish hit, the guys got them hooked hood and haded over rods. So much fun fighting the sailfish, watching them jump? And finally getting them to the boat. Crew was so helpful, worked hard, prepared food, and helped with pictures. Must go!
