Head offshore aboard a 27’ Super Panga saltwater fishing boat. There’s plenty of space for a party of 6 to come aboard and fish, and there’s enough cover for you to shade away from the blistering sun. Powered by twin 50 HP Yamaha engines, she’s a serious fishing vessel. You’ll have the edge over every other boat as you make use of the onboard livewell, tuna tubes, outriggers, and fighting chair to maximize your fishing potential.
There’s great fish on offer year-round. In the summer, head up to 6 miles offshore and the fish are just monstrous. You’ll troll the water tops for huge Billfish like Marlin and Sailfish, and catch a few delicious Mahi Mahis on the way. In the winter, the reefs are where it’s at. Bottom fish by jigging to entice the bite of stunning Snappers and Yellowtails, Wahoo, and many more. If you’d like it a bit more hands-on, just let the captain know and you can try spearfishing.
Snorkeling equipment is already on board, so you’ll have the opportunity of cooling off in the water while studying the clear, exotic underworld up close. With drinks provided, all you need to do is bring your own snacks, probably some sunscreen, and settle in for a memorable day exploring the Caribbean. 6 Hour Trip on July 5, 2025
We had an incredible experience on our 6-hour fishing charter! From start to finish, the crew was friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great time. We caught five fish, including a beautiful mahi, and about halfway through the trip we got to stop and snorkel—which was a total blast and such a fun surprise. One of the highlights was when the crew made fresh ceviche right on the boat with the mahi we caught. It was absolutely delicious and added such a unique touch to the trip. You can tell they really love what they do and go the extra mile to make the experience memorable. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just out for a good time on the water, this charter is definitely worth it. We’ll be talking about this trip for a long time!

We had the best time fishing on the balihoo. The crew were awesome. I ask to change date of charter the day before due to weather Forcast and they were very accommodating. Conditions weren't the best due to the sargassum but they worked super hard to keep the baits clean and to put us on fish. The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. We caught a sailfish and 2 Mahi Mahi. If you are fishing in playa del carmen definitely choose this charter!!! The Best charter experience I have ever had.

Captain Balto and his mate were very knowledgeable and friendly. Great communication before the trip and very amenable to every request. We didn’t catch a lot but my son and I both knocked a fish off our bucket lists. Take Captain Balto up on his recommendation to have your catch prepared and cooked at the restaurant at the harbor. You will not be disappointed. Hands down the best fresh catch-and-cook you’ll ever have.

Balta and Lucio were amazing. At the beginning they gave us a run down of what to expect and where safety equipment was on the boat. Then we went out and caught fish. Everyone on the boat caught multiple fish. We decided to call it an hour early, but the crew was more than willing to fish longer if we wanted. We all had a great time and highly recommend this crew.
