Six Shooter Charters operates out of Pensacola, FL, offering a range of trips targeting all the Gulf’s top species. Florida’s Emerald Coast is famous throughout the country for its amazing food fishing, with vibrant reefs full of delicious table fare. The area also boasts incredible sport fishing for those willing to make the journey.
Hit the local reefs for Mangrove Snapper, Triggerfish, and Mackerel, or head further out for Red and Vermillion Snappers, Amberjack, Grouper, and much, much more. Up for even more of a challenge? Head to the very heart of the Gulf of Mexico to battle Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and the ultimate bluewater beast – Marlin.
You will be fishing aboard a 39 foot Topaz Royale air conditioned sportfishing yacht. The boat can carry up to six anglers, and cruises at a speedy 21 knots to get you to the best spots in no time. Don’t worry about a bumpy ride, though, her massive size makes her rock-steady both on the move and at anchor.
You will have a choice of light and heavy tackle to use on your trip, with live bait fresh from the tank and a range of lifelike lures. Depending on the trip, you could be trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, or even spearfishing.
You don’t need to be an expert to fish with Six Shooter Charters. Families and children are always welcome. You will have a skilled first mate working alongside you all trip to make sure you stay hooked up, and he will even fillet your fish for you at the end of the day. Just remember to bring ziplock bags and a cooler to put all your tasty fish in.

Family birthday trip
3/4 Day Trip – Bottom Fishing on June 19, 2025
We enjoyed a wonderful day on the water today with this crew. They were attentive and helpful. They worked hard to make sure we caught a limit of snapper and we were even lucky enough to catch a few mahi. They were great with our teenage kids and even attended to those of us who got a little sea sick. They cleaned our fish and we went home with enough fish to feed our family at least 4 delicious fish dinners. We would definitely use this charter again and would recommend this crew highly. Evan and John John were amazing!

They communicated everything clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable, especially our teenagers—some of whom had never fished a day in their lives. “An Unforgettable Experience with Captain Evan & Jon Jon!” I cannot say enough about how amazing our trip was with Captain Evan and Jon Jon. From start to finish, these guys delivered an absolute world-class experience. My personal goal was to hook into a big shark — and they made it happen! Not once, but TWICE we hooked massive bull sharks, including one well over 8–10 feet that we battled for over an hour. Their knowledge, skill, and determination to help me land the fish of a lifetime was nothing short of outstanding. Even after hours of fighting these giants and some serious seasickness, they encouraged me, stayed positive, and worked tirelessly to give me every chance to succeed. What impressed me even more than their skill was their character. Both Evan and Jon Jon were professional, respectful, and full of integrity. 4 Hour Shark Fishing (PM) on June 25, 2025
Took my son and his two friends shark hunting and what a time they had! It started out slow but when we moved to a different spot the shark started biting! Our first catch was a hammerhead! We then caught some black tip and spinner sharks! The staff is great! I can’t recommend them enough!! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! If you’re looking for a fishing trip then Captain Doug and his crew with Six Shooter Charter is where its at!!

I booked this trip as a Father’s Day gift to my husband. We had our girls come along with us this time and captain Evan and his mate were absolutely amazing! We had the best time caught fish and got to see a sunken ship, sharks, dolphins, and a sea turtles! I highly recommend this charter! They went above and beyond for us! Also, to add I am 5 months pregnant and captain Evan made sure to take an easy and made sure the whole time I was okay and comfortable!
