Funk Charters is the next generation of fishing charters, the main goal being to take you out for a great action-packed day of fishing and fun on the water. Captain Austin Funk will cater to all different ages on a fishing excursion in Jensen Beach, Florida. He grew up in Florida and has spent most of his days fishing more than doing anything else.

Capt. Austin can accommodate 4 guests on his 22’ Sportsman bay boat. Powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine, it will take you smoothly to the best fishing spots. You’re welcome to bring your own cooler if it’s not too big.

Your meeting point is the Jensen Beach boat ramp and you’ll be pleased to hear that there is a free parking nearby. Capt. Austin can do a boat pickup if you are close to this location. Live bait can be prepared before the trip, or you can catch it with the captain and have some fun even before the real hunt begins.

You will mostly fish in the St. Lucie River with your main targets being Grouper, Snapper, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, and many more. Capt. Austin will provide your Penn and Star fishing equipment and water, your fishing license is covered, so you only need to bring some snacks. Full day trips are not just for experienced anglers as they offer a valuable time for all beginners who want to get better at reeling ‘em in.
