The Laguna Madre is simply the place to go for inshore fishing in Texas. Eat Sleep Fish Repeat Charters invites you to explore these productive waters and more with an experienced, qualified guide. Captain John Barrera has fished these waters since the age of 2, thanks to his father who has been a guide for more than 30 years. A prominent tournament angler, he’s just the man to show you the best techniques, and prepare you for a competition.

You need a versatile boat to take you inshore along the flats and out to the offshore rigs. The 2018 25’ Majek Illusion performance fishing boat is just that. Up to 6 anglers are welcome aboard, and you’ll be whizzed off before you know it thanks to the 250 HP Suzuki SS engine. A modern vessel, she boasts all the necessary safety and navigational equipment, along with a livewell and ice box to keep your bait and catch fresh.

Offering inshore, nearshore, and offshore trips, there’s no end to what you can catch. The region is home to over 20 fishing tournaments every year, so the special 2 Day Trip will help you prepare for a competition. Depending on the weather and the bite, use a range of bait and lures, and try a whole range of methods to land your catch. From bottom fishing to trolling, jigging to popping, try whatever to land the bite of anything from a Redfish to a Red Snapper, Flounder to Trout, Sheepshead, Pompano, and more.

You’ll even find equipment on board for one person to bowfish. On half day trips, you’re encouraged to bring your own fly fishing or bowfishing gear, if you’d prefer that. There really is nothing that you can’t do with Eat Sleep Fish Repeat Charters. All that’s left for you to do is get booking and bring your own drinks and snacks aboard and get ready for an incredible day of fishing in South Texas. Capt. John is calling you aboard today!
