Book your next trip with Port Of Call Charters and find out what the fishing in Huntington is all about. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Sean can tell you all about the local fishery.
Striped Bass, Bluefish, Scup (Porgy), Black Sea Bass, Squid, Tautog, Flounder, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your excursion begins aboard a 32' Pilothouse with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Port Of Call Charters!
