The province of Guanacaste, located in Costa Rica, is home to incredible wildlife, stunning white beaches, and crystal clear waters. It’s also a hotbed of top-notch angling opportunities! Vilarastours Sportfishing, chartered by a group of captains who grew up fishing these waters, can’t wait to take you out and introduce you to their favorite local hot spots. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or first-time angler, they’ll soon have you fishing the Costa Rican way!

The captains and crew members of Vilarastours Sportfishing have all been passionate anglers since they were children – now, they use that love of fishing to run a variety of first-class trips, putting their years of knowledge into practice. As well as being experienced fishermen, they’re also well-versed in the migration patterns of the local fish, as well as the effect that the weather can have on these waters. When you join them, you’ll be in safe hands, and well-prepared for a day that’s chock-full of angling action!

You’ll be fishing from a 27’ Sea Pro saltwater fishing vessel, perfectly built to transport up to 5 guests – whether you’re heading a mile or 10 miles from the coast, this vessel will provide a safe and comfortable journey. She’s decked out with GPS, fishfinder, life vests, a full toilet, and even a multimedia system – you can chill out and listen to your favorite songs as you wait for the fish to bite.

Whether you’d prefer to stay closer to the coastline, or head further offshore, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to the species on offer. Get ready to come face-to-gills with a variety of Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Sailfish, and plenty of other famous fish. Snorkeling gear is available, so just let your captain know if you’d like to explore these waters from a different angle!

You’ll be provided with rods, reels, bait, tackle, and a fishing license. Join Vilarastours Sportfishing for an unforgettable local-style angling adventure!
