VCAS – 19' 

If you’re looking to explore the bountiful waters of Durban, South Africa, you can’t go wrong with VCAS! Captain Paul Nel is very customer-centric, and his main goal is for you to have an unforgettable time fishing with him.

Join him aboard his 19’ Robcraft walkaround center console with a cabin and a restroom, fully restored in 2019. It can cater to up to 4 anglers fishing at the same time and comes powered by twin Johnson engines. It also features downriggers, an ice-box, and modern navigational electronics and safety gear.

You’ll be going up to 15 miles from the coast in pursuit of the likes of Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Barracuda, and Musselcracker. The captain will show you his favorite hotspots and a variety of efficient techniques, including trolling, bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, and popping.

You’ll be supplied with all the needed fishing gear by various top brands, lures, and fishing licenses. Snacks and drinks are provided on each trip and you can contact the captain beforehand and tell him your preferences. Full day trips also include lunch. After the trip, the first mate will clean and bag your catch, so make sure to tip him for his hard work.

If you’d prefer to bring your own snacks and drinks, you’re welcome to store them in the onboard cooler or bring your own.
