Andes Limite Anglers
Itching for an exotic, wholesome, and exciting fishing experience while enjoying the untouched nature of the Andes? Then you need a trip with Andes Limite Anglers, specializing in fishing the incredible Punta Negra Lake.
They are local fishing enthusiasts operating out of Zonda, Argentina, just around 20 miles from San Juan. You'll get to enjoy this spectacular lake with clear water and a breathtaking landscape of colorful mountains at the foot of the Andes.
Your boat for the day will be a 13' Lerch boat that can accommodate up to 3 anglers. Built in 2019, it still has that new boat smell and features the latest GPS, VHF radio, safety gear, a live bait tank, and an ice-box. It's powered by a 55 lb electrical wireless trolling motor since fuel is not allowed on the lake.
Your guide will take you after a variety of native species, including Pejerrey, Brown Trout, and Steelhead. You might also encounter some Carp during your fishing trip. Trolling and spinning are the most efficient techniques on this magnificent lake, and your guide will show you all the local tricks and hacks.
Each angler can keep one Trout and 6 Pejerrey, and the guide will gladly clean and fillet your catch after the trip. He'll also provide all the needed fishing gear and lures, along with sandwiches, fruits, water, coke, beer, and other refreshments. Both licenses and live bait will be taken care of before the trip, free of charge.
You're welcome to bring along kids of any age, just note that infants are not recommended if the weather is too windy.
If you want to take a break and explore this mesmerizing landscape on foot, that can also be arranged. Book a trip with Andes Limite Anglers and get ready for the most spectacular fishing day of your life.

Since I was a child, I have been fishing with my father. Ever since I've tried it for the first time, I realized I'll never stop doing it! My biggest catch was a 10 kg Chinook Salmon I reeled in Patagonia. My favorite thing about this job is enjoying the outdoors with families and showing them the beauties of the Andes while creating memories. I'm hoping to show you the best hot spots of my town's nearby lakes, their clear waters, and the breathtaking scenery of the Andes.
