Team up with Captain Joe Villanueva and Got’em On Fishing Adventures and fish in style! Your guide has spent a large part of his life on fishing boats, and he knows the local waters like the back of his hand. You’ll find some of the best inshore fishing opportunities in this area of Texas, and Capt. Joe knows exactly where to go to put you on the fish.
Your ride to the secret honey holes on the flats is a 22’ Majek Illusion with a 200 HP Yamaha engine. The boat is spacious enough to take up to 4 anglers to the secret fish hideouts. This compact vessel is perfect for inshore and flats fishing, with more than enough room to move around the boat and follow the fish.
When it comes to your catch, you will be targeting inshore A-listers like Redfish, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, and Flounder. You will have top-notch rods, reels, and lures at your disposal. You can also fish using live bait, but bear in mind there is a small extra charge for it. You just have to show up, pick your rod, cast your line, and wait for that reel to scream.
A valid fishing license is a must, and feel free to bring drinks and snacks to keep you going. If you’re going on a full day trip, pack a lunch as well, fighting fish for hours can take it out of you. Have a small icebox at the ready if you want to keep some of your catch, but catch and release is also allowed.
Kids are welcome to join you on your fishing expedition, Capt. Joe recommends for them to be seven and older so that they can truly enjoy the experience. If your little ones have their own life jackets, feel free to bring them along. Leave everything else in the capable hands of Got’em On Fishing Adventures and hop aboard for memorable and fun fishing times!

Half Day Trip (AM) Bay Fishing
Morning trip with captain Joe
Great morning even with the low tide. Captain was overly concerned that it was not enjoyable since we were not reeling in on every catch. We were there to fish and learn as this was our first experience in salt water fishing. We learned more in a morning about tide change, fish habits, and technique that non of us knew. If your looking for a teacher and guide Joe is not going to disappoint you. When my boys get older we will be looking Joe up again for off shore. Thank you Captain Joe Villanueva we cant wait to get our catch on the grill.

Girlfriend & I had an awesome time! Captain Joe is a great guy, and very patient. He worked hard to get us on the fish, but never rushed us ( as some guides do). His gear was in great shape as well. We had a relaxing, fun outing; will definitely book with Joe next time out to Port A!

Two half day trips with Joe
Spent two half day trips with Joe. The first day it started off slow but got much better and I ended up catching some great fish. The next day I took my girlfriend and she limited out on trout. I was very pleased. I would recommend Joe as a fishing guide for any kind of fishing trip that you would like to go on. The next time I come to Corpus Christi I will be calling Joe for another guide trip.

Even though it was a Saturday, Captain Joe went out of his way to get us a full limit of trout with some drum to spare. Had a great time with my son. Would recommend him to anyone fishing out of Corpus Christi.

Highly recommend for anyone that wants to enjoy their trip out. I would consider my group intermediate level anglers for the sole purpose of having a good day on the water. Easily caught plenty of fish. My wife has a bad hand and a shrimp allergy, Joe worked hard to make sure she always had a baited hook with shrimp in the water when our lines were out. Excellent trip!
