Hop on your captain’s 22’ Pathfinder bay boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. She is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and has all the safety and navigational equipment. There’s also a live bait tank and an ice box.
A big part of the captain’s service is teaching people how to fish, so you will have a great time even if you had no previous experience. Kids are more than welcome on his boat and he has one trip designed especially for them. There is no minimum age policy, but his rule is that kids under 6 years old have to wear life jackets at all times.
Your main targets will be inshore species, such as Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Bluefish, and Mangrove Snapper. If you choose to keep your catch, Capt. Dalton will gladly clean and fillet it for you at no extra cost.
Your captain will provide you with Shimano, St. Croix, and Penn fishing equipment, live bait, and fresh water. Feel free to bring other drinks and snacks with you. In case live bait is not prepared before the trip, you can learn how to catch it with the captain.

Perfect morning Inshore trip
3 hour trip on June 12, 2024
My husband, myself, and our 11 year d enjoyed our morning Inshore fishing trip. Dalton was great! We caught so many fish, my son even caught a sting ray which he thought was “so cool”(of course we let it go). The weather was perfect, the boat was in tip top shape, the fish were biting, Dalton was great with our son, etc.! We will be calling him when we come back next year for our Summer beach Vacation and booking with him again! Highly recommend booking with Dalton!

Kids Trip (AM) on July 2, 2024
This was our second trip with Captain Dalton. My kids just turned 9 so they are on the younger side for a 4-hour Trip, so we opted for the 2-hr "kids" trip. Dalton does a great job of making sure the kids catch fish and stay interested. We caught Red Fish, Trout, Skip Jack, Catfish etc . It is all about setting the tone/interest for future fisherman. Our next trip we will bump up to a 4hr trip . Highly recommend Captain Dalton.

Second trip with Captain Dalton with myself, my wife, daughter (14), and son (12). Excellent trip once again. Would highly recommend. Caught our limit of trout and one short of limit of red fish. Will book again on our next trip to 30a!

Capt. Dalton was great. My two boys (4&6) had the best time. Dalton made sure they always had a rod in their hand and were kept busy on the fish. We ended up getting our limit on specks and, after Dalton cleaned them, got to bring them home for dinner. The boys had such a big smile getting to eat fish they caught. Thanks a bunch Dalton.

Captain did an excellent job on a tough fishing day. Almost caught our limit while 4 other guides came back with nothing! Very knowledgeable of the area & was busy rebaiting hooks & very patient with my son who doesn’t fish that often. Will be booking his services again when we come back!

Captain Dalton Morrison is a native Floridian. He grew up in Freeport, on the Choctawhatchee Bay. He is passionate about fishing on the Emerald Coast waters. All through grade school you could find him out on the water with a rod in his hand. Ever since Dalton was 16 years old, he has been entering in local fishing tournaments throughout the panhandle.
