Ready to land trophy-sized Striper?! Join Tyin’ Knots Charters on this adventure. Striped Bass is its favorite target because it always puts up a great fight. Reeling in one of these beauties feels unreal. When you get into a good school of these fish, the action starts and there will no time to rest.
Captain Tyler Hartensteiner and his crew are normally based in Brigantine, New Jersey. However, when they target Stripers in the springtime & fall, Raritan Bay is the place to be. There are many ways to target these fish. You will mainly be casting lures and fishing live bait.
You will start this amazing pursuit on a 31’ Contender boat. She accommodates up to 6 guests and she’s powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. The boat also features outriggers, a live bait tank, and an ice-box.
On most trips, there will be a first mate on board, who will do all the dirty work and clean your catch. Capt. Tyler will provide your rods and reels, live bait, and lures. You just need to bring your food and drinks for the day. Kids of all ages are welcome and life vests for them are provided.

Excellent Full Day Striper Trip with Captain Tyler
I would recommend Captain Tyler and Mike, his first mate, in a heartbeat. They were great to work with- pleasant, knowledgeable, and focused. Put a lot of effort into getting us on fish and having a good time. Super clean and organized. Great service. Enjoyed a day out on the water; my entire party caught stripers, including several of really good size.
