Belize Sport Fishing Charters is run by a fourth-generation fishing family that has been mastering the waters off the coast of Belize for decades. They know their local waters like the backs of their hands and are confident that they can take you on the adventure of a lifetime with their eyes closed.
They have been in operation since May 2013 and recently started the Belize Tourism Board. The company runs a wide range of water-based tours, including fly fishing, sport fishing, and other water adventures in Belize.
Even though they began guiding professionally relatively recently, they have been taking family and friends out on trips for many years, so providing a personalized and friendly sport fishing service comes naturally to them.
Give them the chance to show you and your family a good time and make a great catch possible. Hit the reefs, try your hand at fly fishing, or spend your day fishing the deep waters. Go for Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Jack Crevalle, Snook, Tarpon, and many other species that patrol these beautiful waters.
Your boat for the day will be a 23’ center console. Once on board, you will find quality fishing gear and tackle, fly fishing equipment, bait, lures, snacks, and drinks.
For the fishing adventure of a lifetime come to spend your day at Belize Sportfishing!

Full Day Trip - Reef Fishing
Our Captain was good, and handled the boat better than we would have thought. It was a windy day, and we felt safe at all times. Everything else on the trip was very sub par. We started an hour late, which would have not been terrible, but we had already driven two hours to be on time. The agent booking the trip was not at all prepared. Advertisement was for all fishing gear and bait supplied, which of course was needed because we were coming from the states. When we arrived, the agent asked us if we had gear. They then had to find gear, and we had to catch the bait. We had booked a fishing trip for 4 people, and they only had 2 working rods, with no selection of lures and not enough live bait to use on both lines. We did catch 6 fish which was the highlight of the day, but that isn't impressive for an 8 hour trip. We also took an hour break on an island, which was unneeded since our plans were to fish. I would use the same captain again if I had my own fishing gear, but would not book the trip through the same company.
