Jaws II Sport Fishing – 33'
If you're looking for a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable fishing guide in Kewaunee, Wisconsin, you can't go wrong with Jaws II Sport Fishing. Captain Steve Braunsdorf is a local who loves fishing, but most of all, loves putting his customers on the fish.
His boat is a 33' Trojan cruiser vessel that can take up to 6 anglers of all ages and experience levels. It had a full makeover in 2018 and features the latest in safety gear and navigational electronics, including 2 fishfinders, GPS, and VHF radios. The boat comes powered by twin 350 HP Crusader engines and boasts a restroom, downriggers, and an ice-box.
Your main targets will be Chinook and Coho Salmon, but that's just the beginning! Depending on the bite, you might also reel in some Steelhead, Walleye, Trout, Musky, Perch, and more. Trolling for these amazing species will be something you'll remember for years to come.
Jaws II Sport Fishing will cover the use of top-of-the-line Okuma tackle and lures. The first mate will even gladly clean your catch and help you with everything else you might need for the day.
You're welcome to bring a cooler with any food and drinks you like. Fishing licenses are a must so make sure to buy them before the trip. The only thing you'll need in addition to that is a camera and a desire to catch fish!

We were lucky to catch some nice fish but most of it was the captian had a good idea what conditions to look for. I will be booking with this captain again. Just maybe not an 8 hour trip. Once the sun is up all you have to chase is rainbows anyway

On their first charter and having the last name Salmon, proved to be the luck they needed, but mostly due to the captains knowledge on where to find the good spots. Would have had their limit if they wouldn’t have lost two large ones. My husband, his daughter and son in law had a wonderful time. Freezer is full, and memories to last a lifetime.

Could’ve done the 6 hrs but wanted to get most out of one day. Great first experience for my kids on bigger water and for one that doesn’t like to fish. Steve and his side kick were great to fish with. Very personable and cared about being able to catch some fish for the experience. The one that didn’t like to fish ended up throughly enjoying the time spent on the water and reeling a fish in. Will most definitely be booking again in the future.
Captain Steve, his crew, boat and gear are organized and top notch. We went out in the evening in search of salmon. Captain Steve with his years of experience shared his knowledge of fishing and navigating these waters and successfully how to land some big king salmon. I highly recommend this trip and experience. Now it,s time to try out some of our favorite salmon recipes.
We had terrible weather contributing to terrible seasickness, but that was under none of our control. We ended up cutting our half day trip in half, but still managed a great catch, thanks to the expertise of our guide. The guide was very kind and generous to us, with an excellent boat and equipment. Thank you! We look forward to another trip.
I've fished all my life and thought I would like to share my experience and skills with others. I have been running charters for the past 12 years. I'm local to the area and know these waters like the back of my hand. Freshwater charters on the Great Lakes are my specialty and fishing is my passion. My favorite technique is trolling for Walleye, Salmon, and Trout, as well as ice-fishing.
