Gert Van der Walt – Skeleton Island
The Skeleton Coast boasts some of the best fishing grounds in Namibia, and no one knows it better than Gert of Gert Van der Walt Fishing! Venture off the beaten path and dedicate a couple of days to enjoying excellent fishing with a knowledgeable guide at your side.
Gert organizes multi-day trips on The Skeleton Coast, located at the Terrace Bay, 3 hours from Swakopmund. He will organize lodging, transport from the airport, and fishing expeditions for however many days you’d like.
On the day of your arrival, Gert will pick you up from the Walvisbay international airport, and take you north, where your fishing adventure will take place.
Since this is an all-inclusive arrangement, your guide will provide top-notch rods, reels, and tackle for your beach fishing expeditions. You will be casting your line in the productive ocean waters for Sharks (Spotted Gully, Tope Shark, and Bronze Whaler), as well Kob, Steenbra, and Black Bream.
When you’re not fishing, you will be staying in comfortable fishing lodges with private rooms with toilets, and all meals included in the price.
On your last day, you will go back to Swakopmund, where you can explore the town and maybe go to a safari. All this combines into an amazing experience with lots of trophy catch and beautiful memories.
