Welcome to Outcast Charters in the Cayman Islands! Their aim is to provide the optimum quality experience in sportfishing. They offer amazing private customized trips for reef fishing and deep sea fishing.

Your Cayman Island adventure starts on a 31’ Bertram boat that accommodates up to 5 guests. She’s powered by twin 240 HP Yanmar engines and also features a private toilet, flybridge, fighting chair, freshwater washdown, and shaded area. Snorkeling equipment is also available, just make sure to mention this to your captain in advance.

Great news for deep-sea fishermen – you don’t have to go too far offshore for great angling action. The water gets deep pretty fast and it usually doesn’t take longer than 30 minutes to reach your fishing spots. Your main offshore targets will be Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Tuna, and Wahoo.

Reef trips are more family friendly, especially if you’re bringing your kids along. Reef fishing trips give you the opportunity to catch Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Jacks, and Barracuda. Live bait will be used depending on the fish you’re targeting and you will use ballyhoo on your way to the greater depths.

Capt. Daniel will provide your fishing equipment, water, and fruit punch. Feel free to bring other beverages of your choice, snacks, and sunscreen. If you’re using a credit card for payment, you need to process it at least one day before the trip because the captain does not have a portable credit card reader.

The catch is usually being shared with the crew and they will gladly clean it for you after the trip.

Finally got fish on the lines!

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea (AM) on November 27, 2025 • 4 adults

This was the first time we have caught fish on a deep sea diving trip. The other trips were in Panama and Florida Keys. Today we hooked up 10 barracuda (didn't know they are not safe to eat) and 4 tuna (2 were half eaten by sharks, which was surprising and entertaining). We came back with enough tuna for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Morgan's Seafood Restaurant- way better than having tried to cook it ourselves! Overall, an enjoyable day, even with the bit of seasickness we had. Mark and Daniel worked hard to make sure we had a safe and enjoyable time.

Half Day Trip – Reef (AM) on July 11, 2025 • 2 adults

I book a 4 hour tour and wished I booked more time. Captain Farris and Jarren are the best crew on the island. We tried several spots and were successful catching a variety of fish including Trigger fish, rainbow runners, and barracuda. Captain Farris filleted the fish and recommended we take to Morgan's restaurant. There, the chef recommended a ceviche with the rainbow runner and blackened and grilled Trigger fish with a risotto. Wow...from the ocean to the table. Morgan's prepared a pile of fish for us at $22.00 per person. Not bad at all for a 4 hour trip. Only regret... wished I would have booked more time. We'll be back!!!

Slow day but great crew

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea (AM) on July 24, 2025 • 4 adults

Fishing was slow on our afternoon but the Capt and 1st mate worked their butts off trying. Only caught 1 barracuda but we had a great time. Capt Ferris and 1st mate Jared were great. Jared was especially great as we spent more time with him as Capt was up top driving the boat. We learned a lot from Jared about the island and more. Jared was in action all day switching baits and trying to get us on fish while Capt also went out of his way to all the spots. I would definitely go back to this crew

Afternoon Deep Sea

Half Day Trip – Deep Sea (PM) on March 12, 2025 • 4 adults

My family of 4 took the 4 hour afternoon deep sea fishing trip with Captain Ferris and Mate Mark from Outcast Charters aboard the Outcast II. Bottled water, juice, and all fishing tackle/bait was provided, and the boat was spacious and comfortable. We trolled ballyhoo and lures through the dropoff around the West End mainly targeting wahoo, tuna, baracuda, and marlin. We had 4 hits on the ballyhoo but none of the fish hooked up. While it was disappointing not to get any fish to the boat, the trip was enjoyable as Mark attended to all the lines while sharing his knowledge of the island.

Awesome time!

My husband and I and our 3 young children (7 and under) went out on the beautiful waters with outcast charters and had an amazing time!! Our 7 yr old won't stop talking about it! He was adamant about catching a barracuda and captain Ferris made darn sure he was gonna be able to tell a story of catching a real barracuda! We also stopped by starfish beach and our 3 yr old talks about that part to everyone. We had a fabulous time and both captains took so much time to make sure it was exactly as we hoped and the kids would remember it forever! Thank you fellas!! We hope to see you again for another trip!
