Captain Bajil Sentana is a native to the island and has been fishing his whole adult life. Having enjoyed his time out on the water as a hobby, he thought why not use it to put some food on the table. He soon realized that running charters is more than that, and he hopes to welcome you aboard to join his fishing family.
The 33’ custom-built traditional Balinese “Jukung” boat is a thing of beauty. Its double outriggers extend far beyond its narrow body and out into the water like spider’s legs. You’ll navigate all kinds of water and have perfect balance when battling it out against a monster fish. Just bring your own snacks and drinks to make the most of a thrilling day on board.
Head up to 1.5 hours offshore and troll to entice the bite of some beautiful, exciting, and downright delicious fish. In the deep, they’ll grow to enormous sizes and you won’t believe your eyes when reeling in a dazzling Nannygai, shining Trevally, radiant Coral Trout, and many more.
On reef trips, you’ll target the same fish but without exploring such a vast expanse of water. Add to your list the Groupers and Barracuda, among more, and you’ll have just as thrilling-a-time as offshore. These waters are also prime snorkeling locations. Discover the magical world underwater as you investigate the day-to-day lives of these tropical fish.
Up to 10 guests are welcome aboard, so bring a party with you and engage in a true cultural trip. Before you head out, you can even agree with the captain to pick you up somewhere on the water. While at the end of the day, you can keep your catch and head to a beachside restaurant to devour it. What more could you want? Hop aboard and become The King of the Sea!

Half Day Trip – Reefs (MIN 2)
Great fishing tip, lovely getaway, super productive!
Anyone who likes fishing and lands up in Bali should try this. The journey to Nusa Lembongan (island base for The King of the Sea) is quite fun, and then the fishing itself is amazing. I caught 3 snappers (medium size) within the first 3 casts!! barely hit the bottom of the sea and taken! Bajil (our Captain) really knows the waters around the island and we went to a number of very productive spots. Be prepared for some rough seas, this is the open ocean, and waves were 2-3 times the height of the boat!! However, Captain Bajil navigated the waters expertly and we ALWAYs felt completely safe. Highly recommended and a must try if you're into fishing and find yourself in Bali

Deepsea and jigging trip
Learnt new skills and caught a couple fish!
Super stoked to get out on the water, fishing was a little slow but still caught a little barracuda on sunrise which was cool. Captain was very patient and happy to teach me new things so I learnt how to jig which was fun. Conditions were a little rough but felt completely safe the whole time. Would recommend.

Fishing & snorkeling
Amazing day with great captain and great chef
We start the day at 5:45 pick up and saw a Nice sunrise! We did some shore trolling but the fish were not awake yet so we went off shore and the captain who is a great fisherman found a lot of wahoo, great fighting fish, we had a lot of fun! We caught some Mackerel as well and after a couple of hours we went snorkling, he placed us on a great spot with amazing looking fish. We enjoyed the day very much. After a good conversation with the captain he invited us to his restaurant were we could enjoy our own caught fish, how Nice is that. The fish was delicious and we enjoyed the hole night and drink together with the chef and captain. We definitely recommend this trip to every fisherman or great lover of Bali.

Experienced captain who knows the waters well
Great morning out on the boat. Fish were off the bite for a large chunk of the trip. Tried different lures, techniques and spots and the perseverance and experience paid off and ended up with 7 tuna. Captain bajil even went over the allocated time as the tuna kept biting.
