Nauti Hooker Charters invites you to fish with them on the astonishing waters of Chesapeake Bay. They'll take you to the best-known fishing hot spots of the Eastern Shore of Maryland but also show you a few hidden places you may have never seen. Capt. Richard Phippin has been fishing the bay since he was a teenager and he knows it like the palm of his hand.
Your trip will be aboard Miss Nikki, a 25' Maycraft pilothouse with an extended hardtop and canvas for those cold days. Powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine, with a cruising speed of 25 knots, rest assured you'll get where you need to be very fast. The boat is equipped with a state-of-the-art navigation system, fish finder, and safety equipment. She also features an enclosed cabin with a porta potty. Miss Nikki is fully licensed and insured.
The Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries offer an opportunity to catch many different species depending on the time of year. You can go after Striped Bass (Rockfish), Spotted Seatrout, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Silver Perch, Flounder, or Spanish Mackerel.
Capt. Richie trailers his boat to be close to the hottest fishing grounds around, allowing for quick reach and a longer time to fish. The area offers plenty of public access points to start your trip from. Once a trip is booked he will message you with an exact location to meet.

I booked our half day trip as a surprise for my husband and 8 year old son who love fishing. I looked through all of the listings of available Charters and their reviews trying to pick the perfect one. Richard's response time to my questions was unmatched. He was thorough and flexible which put my mind at ease when booking this from a far. He gave me very clear instructions of where to meet the morning of our trip and was there ready to go when we got there. He worked hard the entire trip keeping the poles set up & moving us around to try different places. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. We loved learning about the area and fishing from him. My son enjoyed watching the screen that showed the depth & fish below. We caught a bunch of fish which was the icing on the cake. When we got back to the dock, Richard took time showing my son how he was fileting the fish we decided to keep. We couldn't have asked for a better experience & will definitely book again if we're in the area again.

I got this trip as a gfft for my fiance for his birthday and we had a fantastic time. We are not experienced at fishing, but the captain took time to teach us the ropes as we got out on the water. Given the time of year, we were a bit skeptical of catching much but the captain knew just where to go to be successful. We ended up catching 6-8 rockfish and were able to keep 4 which was perfect. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone that is looking for a fun day out on the water.

Using my dad's account to leave a review! My dad, my boyfriend, and I went on an all day fishing trip. Our overall experience was fantastic! Captain Richard made great conversation with us and made sure we caught multiple fish on our trip. He really knows the water and is a very skilled fisherman. All of us enjoyed our time with Captain Richard and are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend fishing with him!
