It’s time to book a trip with Northern California Guide Service. You’ll spend the day with Captain Robert Weese, who has been fishing since he was 5 years old! He began his own charter business in 1985, so you know that he knows the top fishing spots to take you to.

You’ll spend the day on the 2017 24’ Alumaweld Jet boat, powered by a 400 HP Chevrolet engine. This is a great boat to fish the Sacramento River, and will get you to the fishing grounds in no time. Once there, all 6 anglers can begin to fish at the same time, even if they are fly fishing! For those fly fishing, remember to bring your own gear from home along.

On board you’ll find plenty of features that will allow you to fish safely while having the maximum amount of fun, bringing as many fish over the rails as possible. The fishfinder, wireless trolling motor, and live bait tank will all help you have a successful day.

From July 16 to mid-December you’ll be able to target King Salmon. The best time to book a trip for Striped Bass is between April and May, but you’ll still catch some Bass from March through to August. Sturgeon and Rainbow Trout can be caught year round.

Included in the price of the trip is the live bait, which the captain will prepare before the trip. This gives you maximum time fishing for your trophy catch. You’ll be using G Loomis and Shimano rods and reels. After the trip, Capt. Robert will happily fillet your catch for you, ready for you to cook once home.

Children are welcome on these trips and will especially love the shorter half day trips. Life vests are provided for them. Kids under 5 that don’t fancy fishing will fish for free. Everyone fishing will need to buy a fishing license before the day.
