We had a great time with captain Kurt and Gunner, they were amazing!  It was just our family of six on the boat, which was nice to share that experience as a family.  Captain Kurt and Gunner made us feel very welcomed, like we were on our friend’s boat. We felt very comfortable.  The boat was very clean and open.  Had a great view and ride out from the shore, the weather was perfect. Caught a Red drum fish which we threw back but it was very exciting!  Also caught 16 Spanish mackerel, some of which we had for dinner tonight Yum Yum!  Thank you Captain Kurt and Gunner for preparing those fish for us, cleaning and filleting them!  These two gentlemen answered all of our questions, they were super friendly and we would definitely recommend this fishing experience for the newbies and veteran fishermen out there! Thank you again for a great experience!

The trip could not have been any better!  I met Capt Kurt on the dock with my two kids (10 and 8) and we quickly boarded and departed for our two hour early evening trip a few minutes before 5pm.  Kurt and his mate, Gunner, were welcoming and knowledgeable, gave us a quick run down and we headed out.  Within 5 minutes we were hooked up with our first fish.  We had non-stop action until it was time to go back in a little before 7pm.  We caught about 30 fish and my kids arms were sore from reeling in the fish!  We caught good sized King Mackerel and a few smaller Blue Fish for about an hour and then moved a little further out to target Ribbon Fish.  Within a few minutes of moving we hooked our first one and stayed on them until the end of the trip.  We got back to the dock and Kurt cleaned all the fish and provided ice to pack them in the cooler.  My kids had the best time and when we returned home the next day had a fish feast!  Even my daughter, who is not always a big seafood fan, ate more fish than i’ve ever seen her eat!  We ended up with about 12 pounds of fish and will be enjoying it for weeks to come!  We will definitely reach out to Kurt and book a trip on the Marcia B next year!  Thank you Capt Kurt and Gunner for an amazing trip!

Fantastic experience with Captain Kurt on the Marcia B. fishing charter!! I had my girlfriend and 2 boys on the charter who had never fished before ages 10 and 12. Kurt made them very comfortable on this trip. 25 minutes after leaving the dock we were catching fish. He moved to different places so we could catch different species of fish, from Ribbon fish to Spanish Mackerel. We even caught a Cobia fish, great fight on that fish. Overall fantastic trip the boys want to go back as soon as possible (Thanks a lot Kurt lol).

We had a great family experience on the Marcia B with Captain Kurt and Braden!  Everyone had the opportunity to reel in several fish. We mostly caught ribbon fish, which I’d never even heard of, but they are beautiful. Near the end of our trip, we caught several Spanish mackerel.
We also saw a lot of dolphins and even a sea turtle. The boat was perfect and the crew was excellent!  We learned a lot about Virginia Beach - this is our first visit here. Highly recommend!!

based on the reviews, I took the “bait” and was not disappointed. Captain Kurt and his helper (I forget his name) had a plan and was prepared ready for any situation. On our way back, we found a school of Red Drum, immediately made an adjustment, and my sons and I all caught one (challenging fish to catch). Threw the Red Drum back due to regulation but kept a bunch of Cutlessfish. Excellent experience and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
