Depending on the season, you might hook into Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Amberjack, Cubera Snapper, Broomtail Grouper, and who knows what else! You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your captain will bring you aboard a 31’ Rampage that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Don’t leave home without snacks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

6 Hour Trip – Fun Fishing on March 12, 2025
We did the near shore excursion. We got two albacore fish, and a half-dozen good-size Spanish mackerel. We had grilled spinach mackerel which was delicious, the skipper's mate cooked one of our fish on the boat and served wonderful Ceviche. It was a great crew, friendly, and worked hard. There was some difficulty with language, but it worked out. I would highly recommend them!

Great day on the Tally Hoo with Captain Jorge
10 Hour Trip – Pro Fishing (5 MAX) on July 21, 2023
We had a great day of fishing with Captain Jorge and first mate from Majo Fishing Lodge. We were on our way out quickly after arriving at the marina. On our way out Captain Jorge was getting all of the bait and put together which was interesting to watch. Once we were approximately 20 miles out lines we dropped and we were fishing. The winds had changed direction and moved the warmer areas of water where the fish were, but we still found them and caught dinner to take home. We trolled all day and were approximately forty miles out by the end. They also cleaned and filleted the fish we got to keep before we headed back in. The boat had great music playing throughout the day and were both very professional and friendly to work with. Any time there was a bite on the line, they immediately started pulling up all the other lines and got ready to get the catch onto the boat. We caught tuna and sailfish while we were out and saw a Mahi Mahi but it never took the bate. Captain Jorge brought along a GoPro and captured every fish that was caught through the day as well as the scenery and dolphins that we saw. Was a great way to spend the day and would book with them again without hesitation.
