Fish the Everglades National Park, otherwise known as the 10,000 Islands, with Captain Brock Wagner. With 23 years of experience on these waters, he has a detailed understanding of the best local places to fish. Join him to experience one of the most amazing fisheries the USA has to offer and enjoy some world-class fishing, targeting prized species on the pristine waters of the Everglades.
The captain’s boat of choice is a 22’ Pathfinder bay boat, restored as recently as 2018. It’s powered by a 175 HP Suzuki engine and features Ray Marine GPS, fish finder, and a T-Top for protection from the Florida sun. There is plenty of storage room on board and enough space for 3 guests to fish comfortably at the same time.
Captain Brock will provide you with everything you need to fish. You’ll be equipped with top-notch Tsunami gear, your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter, and any bait you need will be either caught or bought by the captain depending on the season you’re fishing in.
Another thing that’s season-dependent is which species you’ll be able to target, catch, keep, and release. If you have a particular target in mind for your trip and would like to know what the best time window to target it is you should consult with the captain before booking your trip.
Parking at meetup location costs $10 per car and it’s located near various stores and breakfast places. Things you should remember to pack for your trip are food, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Now the last remaining thing is to check the captain’s calendar, find a date that works for you both and start planning your Everglades fishing adventure!

Capt Brock has a great boat specifically designed by himself. When we arrived at the dock that morning, he was ready to go. He gave us a little briefing, the boat was well stocked with ice and bottled water. He had informed us that we needed to bring whatever for lunch. Said he had to make a good run to catch our bait. We got bait and headed for his first "honey spot" I booked the trip, but my fishing buddy of more than 40 years brought his son who had just graduated from Penn State for his first ever fishing trip. The lad was a quick learner and first fish hooked up was a 33 inch red. Then a 34 inch snook and a small trout. We left there and every place we stopped, we caught fish. The lad wound up with 4 snook 1 33 inch, 2 34 inch and 1 35 inch, plus the nice 33 inch red and duly impressed. His father and I were mostly observers but managed a few small snook. His boat looked brand new and was clean as a whistle each morning. Great boat for that area. I would, without a doubt, highly recommend Capt Brock and he only fishes full days. I make this recommendation as I, too, have been a professional guide for over 40 years. Different fish, different area. Capt Ron Smith Salt Springs, Fla

Tough day of fishing, but Captain Brock kept at it until we found some fish. Was willing to put in the miles if needed. My wife and I had a good time, caught some fun fish, and ate them for dinner cooked up at a local restaurant in Everglades City.

Caught many slab Sheepshead and Pompano offshore then moved inshore to tighten up on some hefty Reds and Snapper! My 12 year old daughter caught the best Red to end the day. Captain Brock and his boat were excellent! We’ll do it again!
