USCG Licensed Captain Lou Borrelli has 3 decades of fishing experience and it's his mission to put you on the best bite of the day. He loves taking families fishing and organizing a memorable outing for everyone.
If you've never fished Lake Ontario before, then you're in for a treat. You can troll the lake's shallow parts for Brown and Lake Trout and catch your limits by the end of the trip. If chasing Salmon is your passion, there are plenty of Chinook honey holes to explore in the deeper waters.
You can take your pick between half and full day trips, and if you're up for a different challenge, Capt. Lou has evening expeditions on offer as well. You'll have well-maintained Daiwa rods, reels, and tackle on board, so you don't need to bring your own. When you come back to the dock, the captain or the first mate will clean and fillet the catch for your convenience.
You will be casting your line from a 21' Hydrasports sport fisher, outfitted with a 200 HP Evinrude engine. Up to 3 anglers can fish comfortably. The boat is perfectly suited for lake fishing with its wide beam and spacious cockpit where you can fight your catch. The quality navigational electronics will make sure you stay on the fish's trail at all times.
Even if you're not an experienced fisherman, you'll have a competent first mate by your side to help with everything you need. If you're happy with his work, tips are always welcome.
If you're coming with your little ones (age 6 and older), Capt. Lou will make sure they have fun on the trip as well. He will also provide life jackets for everyone on the boat.

We were coming up 5 1/2 hours for the weekend specifically so that I could surprise my boyfriend with a salmon trip for his birthday. It looked like the weather wasn’t going to work out on Sunday, so the captain changed things around in order to get us on the boat on Saturday instead. Making sure that my boyfriend could have a good birthday. He absolutely made our whole weekend. We had pretty good bites and landed two huge fish, despite it being the end of the season. Lou was kind, funny and took the time to get to know us. He was everything you want in a captain! We cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you captain!!!!

Thanks Captain Lou for a great morning on the lake! First- this is a small well maintained marina with a clean and easily accessible bathroom and it was easy to find the boat. We left early in the morning and the lake was beautiful. Captain Lou was really good with two 14-year-old boys on their first charter fishing trip. He’s full of lots of great fishing information and enthusiasm! The boys were very interested in the equipment and he explained how it all worked and made sure we all knew the safety measures we needed to know. We spent a beautiful morning on the lake learning all sorts of things about fishing! When one of the boys got a little queasy, he didn’t hesitate to take us into calmer water so everybody could still enjoy themselves. As a mom, I very much appreciated that! The boys grilled the steelheaded trout they caught for a delicious dinner and were very happy to eat all of it! . This is a great charter for anyone new to fishing or with kids who are curious and interested. Captain Lou was very welcoming, patient and kind. He was flexible and adjusted the trip time for us so we could still get out and fish despite thunderstorms when we originally planned to go. He kept an eye on the weather and we were all safely in our cars 15 minutes before any real rain started. The boys learned a lot and had a good time which was ultimately our goal. They talked the whole way home about trying it again sometime. We will look forward to that next year! Thanks again for so much fun! We highly recommend this experience for families!

I went on a full day charter out of Kendall New York. Lou was very knowledgeable And very enjoyable to fish with. I felt Like I had known Lou my whole life by The end of the trip. Lou worked very hard To make the day a total success. I ended up catching my limit of king salmon and lake trout. I have probably been on 25 fishing charters in my life, This by far was the best one. I had the Fishing trip of a lifetime with Lou! I would 100 percent recommend Lou and Get the net fishing charters.

Great experience with Lou and his boat. I did a lot of research for charters in the area and chose Lou for his great reviews and kid friendly/family approach as well as his attention and priority to weather and good conditions. Lou was easy to communicate with and had options for us during our vacation should weather not permit on the first chosen day. He was great with our 7 year old daughter throughout the trip. Lou worked hard the entire time of the charter to get us as many salmon possible! He truly cared and made an effort to ensure we had the best trip. Would 100% go back to Lou next time we are in the area and would recommend him highly.
