Experience an exceptional day of fishing in Vero Beach, Florida with Get Lost Charters. Captain Tim Wake will take you to the famous Moorings Flats, Sebastian and Fort Pierce Inlets, as well as the Indian River Lagoon channels and bridge spans. Or take your adventures offshore into the Big Blue Atlantic Ocean for the catch of your dreams. He’ll customize your trip to your individual needs and style of fishing and make sure you have a great time. All ages and levels of experience are welcome aboard!
Your boat for the day is a restored 26’ Hydra-Sports center console with enough room to carry 4 guests. Running on a 300 HP Suzuki engine and rigged with all the quality Simrad navigation electronics and a 120 lbs. Thrust Garmin Trolling motor the boat will take you to the fish quickly and safely. There’s also an icebox to store your fish and two 35-gallon live wells for keeping live bait.
The species you and the captain will target include Mangrove, Mutton, as well as other sorts of Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, King Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Tripletail and more. You’ll catch them using light and heavy tackle by casting, live baiting, bottom and deep-sea fishing, trolling, spinning, and jigging. You can take home your catch and you’re free to bring kids on the boat (12 and older on offshore trips recommended).
Captain Tim supplies all the quality tackle and bait. You need no fishing licenses as the vessels are licensed for your convenience. Bottled water and ice are also provided. You can virtually sign our waiver release agreement at the dock and step on the vessel with no more than a few personal items such as weather-appropriate attire, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and possibly lunch if you’re fishing a full day.
Whether yours is a family of experienced anglers or you want to introduce the young ones to the sport, Captain Tim provides a low-pressure angling experience the whole family can enjoy!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore on August 5, 2026 • 3 adultsIf you're looking to bend a rod in Fort Pierce, book Get Lost Fishing Charters with Captain Tim Wake. Hands down the GOAT on these waters! Three of us went out and the action was absolute non-stop from the moment we got on the fish. Captain Tim put us right on top of them, kept the bait flying, and had all three of us hooked up constantly. We landed a ton of fish throughout the trip and ended up taking home a cooler full—kept 17 for dinner! Tim knows these waters like the back of his hand, works his tail off to keep you on the fish, and makes the entire trip an absolute blast. Top-tier service, great boat, and legendary fishing. We’ll definitely be booking with Captain Tim again. Highly recommend!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore on April 5, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 childrenCaptain Tim was amazing. Very engaging, knowledgable and just great guy to spend a few hours with. We caught soooo many fish. Probably more than I’ve caught my whole life! About a dozen Mangrove Snappers (including five keepers!), three sting rays, a bunch of catfish, a blue fish, jack crevelle, pig fish and a couple of puffer fish! Capt Timmy was fantastics! teaching us all the basics, patient with the kids, calm when multiple fish were being caught at once. He found spots where fish were practically jumping into the boat. The best part, he de-hooked every catch. No need to try that ourselves! At the end, Tim cleaned and prepped our keepers, recommended a restauramt that will prepare them (shout out to the Green Marlin) - even gave us tips on how to ask the restaurant to prepare the catch. This was such a great experience for our budding fisherman. And the most fun I’ve had fishing, hands down. Sooo happy we booked with Capt. Tim!

We had three people fishing, ranging from brand new to seasoned pro. Captain Tim knew exaxctly how to coach each person to make sure we knew how to cast and where to cast. If you couldn’t get your cast right he’d help you. He also kept the trip entertaining the whole time.

Captain Tim began fishing at a young age and it has always been his favorite sport and hobby. The captain grew up in Fort Pierce fishing off docks, catwalks, and Jettys. He was given an old aluminum Jon boat as a gift when he was 13. Having a boat changed the game for him. It allowed him to explore the Indian river lagoon which he has done to this day. He's gotten bigger boats since then with this it has allowed him to adventure out into the big blue Atlantic Ocean for some of the greatest fishing adventures. When the time came, Captain Tim decided to get his captain's license because of his love of fishing. To him, life is Family and about being on the water, catching fish, and making memories.
