Explore the waters of Destin, one of the nation’s most productive fisheries, with Vengeance Charters and land your next trophy! Captain Matthew Pearson has spent years chasing Marlin, and he uses that expertise to show people just how exciting fishing can be.
Not only does he have experience, but your guide also has an excellent boat that will be your ride and fishing platform. Climb aboard his 48’ G&S sport fisher equipped with twin 600 HP Fiat engines that make it stable and swift on the waves. She’s a smooth fishing machine with plenty of room to accommodate up to 6 people.
On board, you’ll find everything you need for a bountiful fishing trip – outriggers to extend your reach, a flybridge to spot fish from afar, and all the fishing equipment you’ll need. Because there’s a private toilet and plenty of seating, you’ll travel in full comfort.
Capt. Matthew offers a variety of angling expeditions, and you make your choice depending on your targeted species. On nearshore trips, you’ll focus on fishing for different Grouper and Snapper. On the offshore trips, anything from Marlin and Sailfish to Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, and Wahoo is in the cards.
While Capt. Matthew is taking you to the secret fish hideouts, the friendly first mate will assist you with everything. He will even clean the catch for you after the trip. For his efforts, tips are much appreciated.

4 Hour Shark Trip 6.30PM
Family Fishing Trip
We had 6 people in our party, and this was a core memory made! Our 13 yr old son was bound and determined that we weren’t leaving Destin without catching a shark, and we caught two! Lots of other great fishing as well, but the 150 lb sharks definitely were the fan favorites! This trip was perfect for everyone, grandparents, mom and dad and kids (our daughter is 6). Loved the crew and their attentiveness and kindness! Will absolutely go out with them again when we return!

Awesome trip!
Matthew and Adrian were awesome. Captain Matthew was responsive to questions prior to arrival. Once out on the waters Captain Matthew put us on some fish right away. Adrian very interactive and worked so hard. Adrian is very knowledgeable and explained the ropes to us. Both Matthew and Adrian made the trip enjoyable for our first fishing trip. Highly recommend using Vengeance Fishing Charter as we will use them again when back in Destin!

5 Hour Trip AM High Season
Top Notch!
What a great day at sea with Captain Matthew and his Son Adrien which is an excellent deck hand! At first we booked a 5 hr trip not knowing what the weather was going to do but the night before we changed to a 8 hr trip which was a gret move. It was the first off shore trip for my wife and 2 daughters one 14 the other 20. Now my 14 year old daughter didn't start out to good it being her first trip on big water, she never felt sick just nervous not being able to see land. Once our 20 year old started slaying fish it didn't take long for our youngest to jump in and hook a few keepers. All in all I highly recommend Captain Matthew and crew out on the smooth running Vengeance! Thank You Captain Matthew for a great experience with my family! We will definitely see you guys again!!

Our experience with Captain Mathew and deckhand Cameron was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. I’ve been on a number of charters before, but this one truly stood out for all the right reasons. From the moment we arrived at the dock, we were greeted warmly and made to feel like part of the crew. Captain Mathew was clearly a seasoned professional — calm, confident, and extremely knowledgeable. He took time to explain the plan for the day, the types of fish we’d be targeting, and the techniques we’d be using. His experience and understanding of the local waters were immediately clear, and he navigated us straight to productive fishing grounds without wasting a minute. Deckhand Cameron was the perfect complement to Mathew’s leadership. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes and on deck, helping us bait hooks, untangle lines, give tips, and clean fish — all while keeping the mood fun and upbeat. His energy and positive attitude never faded, even as he hustled nonstop to make sure everyone was taken care of. He was professional, personable, and incredibly helpful with anglers of all experience levels. We had a fantastic haul — hooking into multiple quality fish and making memories that will last a lifetime. But what really made the trip special wasn’t just the fish — it was the atmosphere these two created. They made the day not only productive, but comfortable, fun, and genuinely enjoyable. You can tell that both Mathew and Cameron truly love what they do, and that passion shines through in the way they run their trips. The boat itself was clean, safe, and well-equipped, with all the gear you could need in great condition. Everything felt dialed in and ready to go, which let us focus entirely on enjoying the day. At the end of the trip, Cameron even cleaned and bagged our catch, offering suggestions on how to cook it, and made sure nothing was wasted. The attention to detail from both of them was top-notch the entire day. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a world-class fishing experience with a professional, fun, and hardworking crew, look no further than Vengeance Charters. BOAT RECORD & food for days!!
We had an amazing time on Vengeance! Matt and AJ were great with us, a family of 4 (w/ 13 yo girl, 10 yo boy), with little experience but they put us on fish early and we kept catching! Our youngest reeled in the boat record, 43.8 lb King Mackerel!! It was longer than he is tall, but now he’s in the cooler. Highly recommend! Another amazing thing is… air conditioning.. it was hot and when we needed it, we were able to step into the cabin and cool off and have drink in the AC. Trust me, in July, it helps!! Great trip, thanks guys!!
