Captain Darren Park is a true local. He's spent his whole life in the area and has never been away from the water. He's delighted to be able to make a living out of what he loves, and hopes to share his passion with each and every customer. Nothing makes him happier than seeing returning customers, so he's determined to send you home with a smile.
The custom-built 19' commercial dory boat is typical of these shores. However, Capt. Darren is one of the few to offer charter on these boats. You'll have a real East Coast fishing experience as you fish like a pro in these productive waters. Everything you need for a successful day awaits you on board, including rods and reels, lures, and all the latest navigational equipment, so get ready for a thrilling day.
You'll drop deep using shoals to attract the bite of your target fish. In the early season, you may also be able to jig, so you're in for a hands-on experience. Go after delicious Cod, Halibut, Perch, Mackerel, Squid, and many more prized table-worthy fish. These fish will all give you a run for your money, so make sure to bring your A-game to fill the boat.
At the end of the day, your captain will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home so you can cook it up right away. All you need to do is bring some suitable clothing, some snacks, and drinks, and settle in for a thrilling day in stunning surroundings. Four Season Tours promises a trip like no other.

On top of that, we got to witness bald eagles in their natural habitat, which was a magical bonus! From the moment I booked, Darren was responsive and professional—he even called me right away to confirm the details. When the weather looked questionable, he proactively offered an alternative time, which ended up being absolutely perfect. His flexibility and dedication made the entire experience seamless. This is now a must-do activity for us every time we return to this beautiful part of Newfoundland. A truly one-of-a-kind experience that we’ll be talking about for years to come. Thank you, Darren!

Not only is Darren incredibly knowledgeable fishing charter, he is a ton of fun to be around. Despite conditions being a little tough because of the time of year and fact we were fishing mid-day (the only time Dan and I could fit in a charter), we boated 13 fish and 4 different species in a 3 hour window including 2 types of cod, mackerel, ocean perch and sculpin. Lots of laughs and stories were shared as well that made the trip all the more memorable. I’ll be bringing my 11 year old son next summer for the same experience! Thanks Darren!

We caught about 10 cars and 40 mackerel. The mackerel I never liked but these were great we ate them all. Darren is a great guy and a great guide
Caught lots of fish, great captain, spectacular views. Would highly recommend to anyone going to be in the area whether you fish or not.
