Nelson’s Nautical Charters
Fort Myers Place is one of the best spots in the whole of the US for inshore and nearshore fishing. Step aboard Nelson’s Nautical Charters and explore the flats, backcountry, reefs, and wrecks, as you go after tough-fighting and delicious fish. There’s something for everyone aboard as experienced anglers will relish the chance to battle it out with some prized fish, and beginners can get hooked!
Captain Steven Nelson is the man to get you on the fish and to give you a helping hand. Hailing from the Florida Keys, his whole life has revolved around the water. He loves getting out fishing every day, and invites you to join him on the weekends. He hopes to give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience, filling the boat and putting a smile on your face.
His 23’ Carolina Skiff is the perfect vessel for these shallow waters. Light and nimble, she’ll take you to spots that few others can manage. Up to 4 guests are welcome to make yourselves at home. Bring your own drinks and snacks aboard and plug into the multimedia system and blast your tunes throughout the day.
Using the latest rods and reels, along with live bait, you’ll get to troll, bottom fish, drift fish, and even make use of popping corks to lure your target. Tough-fighting Sharks and Snook will give even the most experienced angler a run for their money. It won’t be easy to fill the boat either. Snappers, Groupers, Redfish, Trout, Sheepshead, and Mackerel promise a tough fight to take their meat home with you.
At the end of the trip, Capt. Steven will clean and fillet your catch, so you’re good to cook up your fish right away. Savor the taste of a successful day out long into the night, and beyond! Everything you need for a productive day is waiting on board. Let Nelson’s Nautical Charters take you away to the fishing trip of your dreams!
