You’re likely to fish for Halibut, Salmon, and more if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish.

Trips with Ear Mountain Charters are child-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

You’ll be casting lines from a 32’ North River aluminum fishing boat with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is not allowed.
