Nothing beats a fishing trip with a local! At Coastal Carolina Charters LLC, you’ll be spending the day with Captains Alex Fisher and Scotty Webb, who know this area intimately. They’ll take you to the best fishing spots to make the most of your day out.
You’ll be on board the 28’ Cuddy Cabin boat that is spacious enough for 4 anglers. The deck has plenty of space and seating available. There is a small cabin you can sit in if the weather is bad on the ride out. There is a restroom for your comfort. This compact boat is great for beginners, kids, and experienced anglers alike.
Depending on the time of year, you’ll be able to target the likes of Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Little Tunny, King Mackerel, Flounder, and more. The captain will inform you of the limits for each species and fillet your catch for you after the trip.
Kids will enjoy trolling and the space on board – all kids over 8 are welcome on board and will have life vests provided.
Included in the price of the trips are the rods and reels from Penn. These are top quality and won’t let you down when reeling in your catch. After the trip, the captain will fillet your catch for you.
Make sure you bring along food and drink for the journey – you’ll want to keep your energy up! Glass bottles are not allowed on board, but you can bring along cans of beer. It’s recommended to wear light layers of clothing and deck shoes with light-colored soles.

There is no need for the passengers to get a fishing license since the captain has one that will cover them. Please note, if interested in deeper water fish such as mahi, bottom fish, etc, book a 3/4 or full day trip, as we won’t have enough fishing time – at times it could take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get where we need to be.

Half Day Trip – Shark Trip on May 29, 2024
We had an excelent trip. This has been our third different charter near and around the outerbanks. We caught alot of fish! The guides were great, knowledgeable, friendly, and curteous. Would strongly recommend these guys to anyone in the area.

Half Day Trip (AM) on July 29, 2023
On the way down to the coast, my lucky horseshoe fell out of my arse and is currently living the high life on the side of I-540. We had crap weather and water today for fishing. Not surprising to me since my luck is so bad that I've never won a powerball. And I mean ever. Considering we had 2 11yo boys on the boat for their first trip, we opted not to hit open waters. We spent the morning trolling the inlet and backside of shackleford. Wouldn't you know that Scotty and Charles put us on some blues before we had a chance to put on sunscreen. The boys were snatchin' up lips left and right. There were some BIG BIG BIG smiles on that boat this morning. The boys were OVER THE MOON for their first trip away from the dock. You can absolutely not go wrong with Scotty and Charles. They have an incredible depth of knowledge in the fishing area and fishing in general. And the trip was SUPER KID FRIENDLY to boot! Thanks guys....and I'll be back!
