Bluefin Sportfishing - Bluefin II
Bluefin Sportfishing welcomes you down to Quepos, Costa Rica, to enjoy a great day on a well-equipped boat fishing some of the best sportfishing waters in the world. They offer a range of trip lengths, fishing either inshore or offshore among the dream setting of Quepos’ stunning natural beauty.
Quepos is a household name among serious sportfishers, with a who’s who of big game pelagics waiting offshore almost year-round. The shallows are just as productive, with monster Roosterfish and tasty Cubera Snapper just asking to be hooked.
The vessel you will be fishing aboard is a custom-built 28’ sportfishing machine. She has room for up to five guests and comes equipped with everything you will need to catch that fish of your dreams, whatever that means to you. She also has an enclosed head for extra comfort on longer trips offshore.
If you are fishing inshore, you will find quality light tackle and fresh live bait, allowing you to best troll for monster Roosterfish and jig for tasty Snappers. Head offshore and the boat really comes into her own, with outriggers, a fighting chair, and Penn International heavy tackle to let you duel like a pro against even the toughest of bluewater beasts.
Whatever you do, you can trust in the Bluefin team to make your day one you will never forget. Going the extra mile is just part of the job description, showing novice anglers the ropes and working with experts to get them on even bigger fish. No-one knows these waters better than their experienced, local captains and you will be amazed at the size and variety of what you are pulling in.
Bluefin Sportfishing is strongly committed to sustainability, releasing as many fish as possible, recycling their oil, using only unleaded fuel, and working with the Fort Lauderdale Billfish Foundation to maintain a healthy fish stock for future generations to enjoy.
