Join Twisted Arrow Bowfishing on an action-packed adventure on some of San Antonio’s most prolific lakes! Captain Patrick Orosco is an expert bow fisherman with over 3 decades of experience fishing Texas’ lakes, rivers, and inshore waters. He invites customers of all ages and levels of experience to come and target prehistoric monsters with a bow and arrow.
You’ll be shooting from a 21’ Tracker center console, equipped with GPS and fishfinder. This boat is perfect for targeting big fish in shallow waters and comes with a wireless trolling motor to stealthily put you on your target without being detected. She accommodates up to 5 guests and there’s no minimum age for children as long as a parent or guardian is present.
No prior experience is needed in order to bowfish. Capt. Patrick and his first mate are both experienced anglers and excellent instructors. They’ll teach you everything you need to know before getting started and supply you with top-quality bowfishing equipment.
You’ll be fishing from a raised deck in order to give you a better vantage point over your prey. Your main target species are Alligator Gar (Longnose and Shortnose), Tilapia, Common Carp, Grass Carp, and Suckermouth Catfish (Plecostomus). You’ll be fishing Calaveras, Braunig, and Medina Lakes, which are brimming with all these species and so many more!
Most importantly, be sure to purchase your fishing license before your trip. You can either do so online or at a local bait shop. Also, feel free to bring nibbles and drinks, including beer, and the rest will be covered.

4 Hour Trip – Bow Fishing
First but not last bowfishing trip
This was our first trip but wont be the last. Patrick did everything he could to give us a great experience and plenty of shot opportunities. The lake conditions and fish didn't make it easy but that's part of fishing. He took us all over the lake and we did get fish in the boat and most importantly we had a good time.

4 hour trip with Patrick
Patrick showed up all gear ready to go prior to launch. Our experience should have been only 4 hours but was longer. He was very knowledgeable of the different fish in the lake & other surrounding areas. All bows in great condition to fit a variety of age & weight pulls. 4 Hour Trip – Bow Fishing
Night bow fishing.
Had a blast bow fishing with Patrick. Nice set up and equipment, very knowledgeable. Very relaxing. We will certainly come back to the San Antonio area again just to fish and hunt with him. 20 seconds into the trip we felt like we had known him and been friends for years. Could not recommend more highly.

Halfday trip with Capt Patruck
We went out on a half day trip with Capt Patrick and had a great time. We didnt't get any in the boat but had two really good ones on the line, unfortunately they got off. Capt Patrick was really informative and we had a great time learning from him. We will definately be doing this again.
