The day will be spent on a 27’ boat that has plenty of room for 5 anglers to fish from. There is a private restroom for your comfort. The boat offers a stable ride, full bathroom and plenty of space on deck to reel in some big beauties. Bring your closest friends and family as we take you past the other local fishing fleets for a true Alaskan adventure.
The stars of the show here are the Salmon and Halibut. You’ll also target Lingcod, Rockfish and a variety of other species. Salmon here get big, definitely big enough to change your profile picture to feature you holding one! They also offer crabbing or shrimping for those interested. This is the trip you’re looking for, and Reel Alaska Fishing Charters will be responsible for your future love affair with Alaska!
Included in the price of the trip are the top quality rods and reels, premium line from Seaguar and fishing gear from Gibbs Delta.
You can still come fishing & whale watching even if you’re coming into Alaska on a cruise. Reel Alaska Fishing Charters offer flexible start times with our trips and we will have you back at the port ready to head out with time to spare.

Half Day Halibut Combo – Private PM
Fishing with Scott
Great half day! Weather was horrible, Captain did the best he could. I hooked several kings but I’m not good at keeping my rod up. Totally my fault and I learned to not be so heavy handed. FYI I’m a big guy. The fish that we put in the boat were turned back out. I had no desire to keep them and capt was great about catch and release. I’m a professional big game outfitter and have hunted all over the west. I definitely know great guides and Capt Scott is the real deal. You can count on doing it right and learning how to fish. Can’t wait for our next trip. I will book with him again.

Salmon and Halibut Fishing with Captain Scott - Reel Alaska Fishing
Amazing and Superb! What a great time we had with Scott! We are novice at fishing and when I say “novice”, I mean never fished before ever. Scott was the perfect teacher, he gave us instructions and showed us proper techniques to catch and reel in a fish and we have the fish to prove how effective his knowledge and advice was. We did so well I renamed his boat to “Scott’s Catching Boat”. The service was impeccable, excellent customer service, and a all around great guy. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you Scott for an amazing experience!

Great Half Day in Ketchikan
What a great way to spend a few hours in the salmon capital of the world. We did a 4 hour charter. Our captain Justin was awesome. It started out slow but we got into them and had a great day. Already want to fish again. Thanks Justin!!!

Best excursion around!!
We saw whales the entire trip. We caught plenty of fish. It was great for adults and kids. Captain Scott provided A+ service and is very knowledgeable fisherman. Would 110% do that again.
