Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Amberjack, Cobia, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Black Seabass, Wahoo, Red Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, and plenty more. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll step aboard a 41’ Offshore sport fishing with space for 12 passengers. No other passengers besides you and the crew will be on board. The boat comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain has rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don’t leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
