Captain Russell Young , 5th generation, has been fishing since he was a young boy with his dad. Following in his father’s footsteps, Cpt Russell Sr. he started running the business at the age of 18 and has been running charters for over 35 years now in the now 4th ‘Sea Wolfe’! He promises a catch for each and every customer and hopes to share his passion with you in the stunning surroundings of Bermuda.
Restored in 2017, the 35’ Bruno and Stillman downeast boat features modern amenities including a full head toilet and plenty of comfortable seating. Equipped with outriggers and downriggers, live well and refrigerated fish hold, you’ll have an incredible trip when trolling the open waters. Settle into the fighting chair as soon as you pick up your rod, and get ready to do battle with some of the ocean’s biggest creatures.
You’ll be going after some highly-prized species. From tough-fighting Tunas and Wahoos to monster leaping Marlin and strong sharks, you’ll have your hands full whatever you choose to target. Filling the boat will never have been so rewarding, as you battle hard to earn your dinner, and head home with some delicious rewards.
If you want to bring the family of 4 or 6 along, there’s room for everyone on board. Children over 8 years old are welcome to try fishing and you may have the chance to go swimming with turtles on your way back to shore (full days only).
Capt. Russell is happy to pick you up within a 20 min radius of Dockyard or Robinsons Marina by boat, and just a 5 minute walk from cruise ships! At the end of the trip, he’ll even clean and fillet your catch for you to enjoy right away at a dockside restaurant. Bring your own drinks and snacks aboard, and settle in to explore a whole new world of fishing with Sea Wolfe Sportfishing!
Due to numerous price increases with diesel fuel during covid, (which havent gone down!) we have implemented a $20/hr fuel surcharge for ALL trips, e.g. a 4hr 1/2 day is an additional $80, Cheers!

We were first-timers
Sea Wolfe Capt. Russell and his first mate Ben were absolutely fantastic. They made sure to avoid some nearby thunderstorms that were rolling through the area and very accommodating to our request to not go out too far. We were very happy with how clean and organized the boat was. Ben was very meticulous rigging lines and answered all the questions my curious 11 year old had for him. We finished the day out with 1 barracuda, cleaned by Ben, and we had it cooked at Bone Fish in the dockyard. It was delicious!! Very mild flavor, tender and flaky. I highly recommend Sea Wolfe for your fishing charter. When we come back to Bermuda, I will 100% book with them again.

Cap'n Russell and mate, Ben, know their stuff!
This skilled team worked through threatening weather and piles of seaweed to put us onto some wahoo. My grandkids reeled in three and they had two other strikes. These fellows were polite, incredibly helpful and never condescending to those of us that knew nothing. The boat was clean, safe and efficient. We gave most of the catch to them and they prepared 1/4 of one fish for us to take to the Bonefish Grille who cooked it to order - it overfed 4 of us and let the less bold try it. It was wonderful and our experience was terrific!! I would highly recommend for a party of four or less.

Great time!
The ocean was soggy with seaweed throwing off the troll but Cap. Russell still put us on the fish. We were set up with light tackle and caught some good tuna. Our arms were hurting at that point. The tax man came calling and we lost three chunky yellowfins in a row to sharks. We couldn't have asked for a better charter. I've done charters in Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, St. Lucia and Canada, in most places if the bites off they plug along doing the same thing but Captain Russell and mate worked like dogs to find us fish, we couldn't have asked for a better Charter

Great trip!!
We booked a 6hr trip with Captain Russell on one of our port days during our cruise. Captain Russell, Ben and Taye were great and informative about the fishing and all things Bermuda. We had never fished for Marlin or Tuna. We didn't have any luck with the marlin or any of the other trolling fish but we did catch a very nice 51lb yellow fin and a nice 21lb black fin tuna. Great experience and will definitely give them a call again if we go back to Bermuda..

Sea Wolfe IV operated by Captain Russell Young, fifth- generation fisherman, is Maine made lobster boat by Bruno and Stillman in 1977 (coincidentally the year) we were born!) Chances were looking pretty slim as we were headed back on our trip, but thankfully we hauled in a Wahoo. The crew Ben and Tayae were psyched to see this catch and noted they do not usually catch them this time of year giving us pointers on how to prepare for grilling! We cooked it on the grill and had plenty of fillets/steaks so we invited another couple over for dinner. Overall, the trip was a great way to start the day, the fish was an absolutely delicious meal for an an authentic Bermuda experience 🎣🌞🙏🏻
