His boat is a 22' Carolina Skiff that's powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine. With enough room for up to 3 people, it's perfect for getting the whole family together for some fun times fishing. The boat also has a pair of Bimini tops to provide shade on those hot summer days. With all the necessary safety and navigation gear on board, you'll have all you need for a safe and productive trip.
You'll be fishing in Calaveras Lake, home to species like Catfish, Hybrid Stripers, and some Redfish. The lake record is a good 30 pounds, so you're looking at some big and healthy fish out there. Any time's a good time for fishing around here, so you're welcome aboard all year long. Capt. Shawn will provide you with all the necessary rods, reels, and terminal tackle for the trip.
He'll also clean your catch after the trip so you don't have to worry about it. You'll need to have a valid fishing license, which you can buy online or at a gas station that's near the park. The entrance fee for the park is $10 per adult and $8 per child and isn't included in the price. It's also a good idea to bring a cooler with your own drinks and snacks for the day. Trip duration is the trip time half/full day or redfish limits (3 person), whether its possession or catch and release.

Captain Shawn was great. The fishing was slow, but we caught a few. Captain kept working at it ande the necessary changes to the rigs. Kept moving to locate rhe fish. We all had a great time, we'll do it again...

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
