Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Snook, Tripletail, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, and more could be biting, depending on conditions. On the day of your trip you're likely to drift using light tackle. Capt. Nick also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Fishing on these trips is strictly for sport and everything you catch will be released. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Nick operates a 16' Pilgrim skiff with room for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
