CCC Guide Service invites you to experience just how great inshore fishing out of Rockport, Texas can be. Captain Cody Coulston is very flexible depending on what his guests want from their fishing experience, as well as weather, tide, and wind predictions. He caters to all family sizes and will do his best to ensure you have a memorable time on the water.
You’ll be fishing from his 25’ Haynie Bigfoot that’s powered by a 250 Mercury engine. The boat is equipped with a GPS and fishfinder unit along with all the safety gear you’ll need for a safe and productive trip.
Of course, if you’d rather wade than fish out of the boat, Capt. Cody is happy to provide. On a regular trip, you’re looking at Redfish, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout as your main targets for the day. You’ll typically fish with either live or dead bait unless you want to take on the challenge of catching fish with artificial lures.
Capt. Cody will provide you with everything you need for a productive day on the water, except a fishing license, which you’ll need to bring with you. It’s also a good idea to have a pair of polarized sunglasses and some sunscreen on you, along with any drinks and snacks you’d like to have during the trip. Communication was great, we rescheduled due to weather. Family fishing trip. We were put fish early and learned alot about the hobby in the area. My son was away from electronics all day and in this day and age that is worth it on its own. Cody did a great job including him on all the action, and made time for a couple extra special moments. Will book again when we are ready to adventure back out. Highly appreciated the extra effort to find us some reds at the end! I also thoroughly enjoyed nature watching throughout!

Captain Cody made our Trip great. He gave us great tips advice and more. He put us on fish 8 different species of fish. He put most of us on our first keep red and trout. It was definitely a great experience and would love to get another trip with him again.

My wife and I have been out with many different guides services. But Captain Cody is the best. He is very knowledgeable, down to earth, and very polite. He put us on fish right away. We limited out on trout in 15 minutes and caught red fish. We would have gotten our limit on reds if the thunderstorms hadn’t run us off the water. We will definitely be booking another trip with him! I highly recommend him!

Had an awesome inshore fishing trip today! We limited out on speckled trout and had a great time from start to finish. Our guide was a great guy—knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we stayed on the fish. everything went without a hitch, captain Cody was on time, organized and very knowledgeable. we hit our limit on Specs within the first 90 minutes and the rest of the charter just flew by. would definately recomend.

After he retired I acquired my captain's license and decided to teach people how to fish the same way my grandpa had taught me. I enjoy croaker fishing for Trout just because it's much tougher than the other types of fishing we do in the bay. Catching Redfish on dead bait is my second favorite type of fishing just because even rat Reds put up a massive fight!
