CCC Guide Service invites you to experience just how great inshore fishing out of Rockport, Texas can be. Captain Cody Coulston is very flexible depending on what his guests want from their fishing experience, as well as weather, tide, and wind predictions. He caters to all family sizes and will do his best to ensure you have a memorable time on the water.
You’ll be fishing from his 25’ Haynie Bigfoot that’s powered by a 225 HP Mercury engine. The boat is equipped with a GPS and fishfinder unit along with all the safety gear you’ll need for a safe and productive trip. Expect a smooth, comfortable, and dry ride to the fishing grounds.
Of course, if you’d rather wade than fish out of the boat, Capt. Cody is happy to provide. On a regular trip, you’re looking at Redfish, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout as your main targets for the day. You’ll typically fish with either live or dead bait unless you want to take on the challenge of catching fish with artificial lures.
Capt. Cody will provide you with everything you need for a productive day on the water, except a fishing license, which you’ll need to bring with you. It’s also a good idea to have a pair of polarized sunglasses and some sunscreen on you, along with any drinks and snacks you’d like to have during the trip. 5 Stars – Great Day on the Water with Cody!
Cody was awesome from start to finish. He was waiting for us at the dock, ready to go, and we even got an early start. The fish weren’t biting at first, but Cody didn’t give up—he kept grinding and working hard to put us on the fish. And it paid off big time! We had an absolute blast and brought home some great fish for our families to enjoy. When we come back, there’s no doubt—we all want Cody as our guide again. Highly recommend!

Captain Cody was polite, on time, and very knowledgeable about the Rockport area. He was strategic in identifying when it was time to move to different spots. We had consistent fish action throughout the venture and enjoyed landing four 6lb+ reds within a 40min window. Don't overlook the service of his "redfish retrieving labrador" Olie who expresses eagerness and excitement regardless of fish size! Cody's suggestion to have our fish prepared by the nearby Paradise Key restaurant was a perfect ending to a very fun day.

Half Day
A half day (morning) trip!!
We took a half day morning trip on August 11th with 3 adults and 3kids, 5 of who are beginners for fishing. We had an amazing time catching a lot of rd fish and black drum. Not only kids but also my friends were so excited to catch the big fish for the first time. Cody took care of us very good (teaching us how to use the rod, putting baits on the hook, throwing into the right spots etc.) and we really enjoyed the conversation with Cody!! Definitely the fun time for all of us!!
