Your guide for the day is an expert in a number of techniques, including spearfishing, trolling, bottom fishing, and more. You'll be able to island-hop and visit some of the hottest fishing grounds that the Adriatic has to offer!
You'll be fishing from a 26' Marlin center console, equipped with the latest Garmin electronics, safety gear, and fishing tackle. On board, you'll also find a shower, fridge, and a cooler. The boat even comes with WiFi, a go-pro, and drone so you can capture each special moment while you fish. The boat accommodates up to 6 guests, and children ages 6 and older are welcome aboard.
Capt. Dario will take you to various fishing locations along Split's coast to target a wide range of species. You'll be able to troll for pelagics or bottom-fish for John Dory, Seabass, and Common Pandora. Other target species include Amberjack, Bonito, Tuna, Dentex, Seabream, and the list keeps on impressing!
The captain also has snorkeling and spearfishing equipment available if you'd like to take a dip and take a closer look beneath the surface. For spearfishing, he recommends ages 18 and older and that you have previous experience. Spears are included but if you prefer spearfishing with a wetsuit, be sure to rent one or bring your own.
You'll be provided top-quality Okuma and Shimano rods and reels as well. Your fishing license is included in the price and the captain will gladly clean and fillet your catch after the trip. There's also a hook-n-cook restaurant nearby where you can have your fish grilled the local way!
Snacks, soda, and beer are included as well so that you stay fully energized during the ride. Capt. Dario will make sure you're entertained and comfortable, just be sure to bring some sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses and the rest will be taken care of.

He took us out to two spots for great fishing, and was a wonderful companion and assistant. we all caught something, including large conger eels! the boat was immaculate and we were able to connect to the bluetooth for a fun yacht rock soundtrack to our great morning. When we’d had our fill of fishing, Ivan took us on a tour of the Split coastline and provided numerous recommendations for places to eat and beaches to visit during our trip. Would highly recommend this charter to anyone.

While fishing he kept us entertained by telling us about some Croatian history as well as interesting information about the species of fish and types of fishing. At the end of the trip he offered to take us to a quiet bay to swim. There were only 2 other boats in the bay and it was very calm beautiful water. We had a blast would absolutely recommend a trip with Sparus Boats and will be sure to schedule another trip when we return to Croatia.

A little too warm in the water for the fish to be active during the day said Captain Ivan. but a great day! Ivan gave tips about fishing and how to cook it best.

Our group consisted of 3 anglers and 2 fishing beginners. Before starting the trip, we could choose whether we preferred to target smaller fish more frequently or go for fewer but larger fish instead. Rods and tackle were absolutely fine, we fished with sardines and squid for sea bream, weever fish and dragonet. The fish were moderately active in moderate weather conditions, but we caught plenty for an 8-person dinner. Dario is a super nice and laid-back guy with over 20 years of experience as a commercial fisherman. Plenty of beer and snacks on board! Top day.

Hi, my name is Dario! It's hard for a foreigner to understand the bond the Croats have with the sea. My love for the sea, especially fishing, existed ever since I was a little kid. As I grew up, it made me explore further and I got to find many secret places, caves and pristine beaches. After my studies at Marine Fisheries, I got a job at Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries here in Split and that's when my dreams come true. The next big step was, of course, combining my experience and expertise to create a company for custom made tours and excursions. My goal is the individual approach and a tour with enchanted exclusivity for my guests of any taste and preference. An introduction to the marine environment and the various fish fauna while enjoying a scenic cruise to the beautiful Dalmatian islands would then sound like a perfect summer escape.
