Based just 5 miles from downtown Seattle, a Wind Knot Salmon Guide Puget Sound fishing charter will make you feel like you’re on another planet. Come and explore the riches of the Puget Sound, where you’ll sail across the bays against stunning backdrops doing battle against one of the Pacific Northwest's most prized fish – Salmon.  During July and August there is a great chance to land a Shark!

Step aboard the premium 25’ Grady White Center Console Fisherman 236 and see for yourself! This vessel can cater to up to 6 anglers and features state of the art Simrad radar, chart plotter and fish finder.  We are proud to maintain the fleets cleanest, modern boats.  If needed, we offer FREE Grunden's rain gear use during Sept-Nov! Family owned and operated charter business.  WE captain the boat, not a seasonal captain.

Most charter boats on Puget Sound troll.  When targeting Chinook Salmon, we typically do not so keep that in mind when choosing the right charter experience for you.  Using light gear, you’ll “mooch” the waters with fresh or frozen bait while drifting with the motor off. This style of fishing is suited best for anglers who prefer to have a rod in hand rather than watch rods and share turns.  We DO troll with downriggers for Coho Salmon in late August and September.  Based on the tide and weather conditions, our captain will choose the method they feel will be most productive for the group.

If a shared charter is booked for 2 people and no other guests join you will have the private boat for 4hrs instead of a 5hr shared charter at no additional cost.

Customers without a Washington fishing license can buy a one-day license and catch card from Capt. David on the boat. Licenses are $13.73. If you only need a one-day license this is the best option.  If you buy a license from the state, please remember a printed catch card is required to be in your possession.

Get on board with Wind Knot Salmon Guides for a great time on the Salish Sea!
