Capt. Brad loves his job and it translates into the first-class service he always strives to provide to everyone fishing with him. You’ll join him on his 24’ Blazer Bay boat that sports a 300 HP Yamaha engine and plenty of space to accommodate up to 5 people.
The vessel is loaded with everything you need for a productive day on the water, including a live bait well, a wireless trolling motor, and quality Daiwa fishing gear. Everyone on board can fish at the same time, and there’s a T-top to protect you from the unyielding Louisiana sun. All things considered, the boat is perfectly suited for the fishing conditions in the marsh.
When it comes to your catch, all the most popular saltwater species are there for the taking. All levels of anglers are welcome to hit the water with Capt. Brad, and he’ll go the extra mile to put you on brag-worthy prey. Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Black Drum are the favorite local catches and your primary targets.
When you come back to land, your guide will clean and bag everything you caught for your convenience. If you need a good recipe to prepare the fruits of your hard work, Brad is your guy.
On your side, you should show up with a valid Louisiana fishing license, and a supply of drinks and food to last the trip. Kids will have a great time with Capt. Brad, just make sure that they’re at least 5 years old, so that they can enjoy the experience fully.

My teenage son and I had an incredible experience with Captain Brad! He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and he knew all the environmental and situational signs to put us on a great catch (which I value more than just a guide who knows the most recent, best “spots.”) The boat was well-equipped, and he provided all the equipment we needed for a hassle-free day on the water. And it truly was hassle-free. My son and I had a great time and learned a lot about the local ecosystem, the latter of which is invaluable. Captain Brad put us on a variety of fish species of different sizes all day. It was a great fishing experience. We also saw lots of wildlife, including herons, ospreys, eagles, alligators, sting rays and other fish species. We utilized different fishing styles as well which was a great change up from fishing the same way the while trip. Captain Brad is super knowledgeable about the waterbodies, areas, fish, wildlife and history... highly recommended for a great trip out! Captain Brad D'Alfonso grew up fishing the Louisiana marsh, sharing weekly phone calls for fishing plans and tactics with his dad and uncle to maximize their weekend fishing adventure. "We fished old school, no GPS and no trolling motor, but it taught us a lot."
