Captain Justin Hawxhurst will not only take you on his boat, but he will also do his best to teach you the different techniques he uses to target fish that inhabit the fjord. Gaining a bit more knowledge and learning to do something new will make your day on the water even more enjoyable.
You'll be fishing aboard a 15' Askeladden 475. The boat accommodates up to 3 guests to maximize comfort. She's fitted with a Lowrance Elite 5 TI sonar, life jackets, and a 50 HP Yamaha outboard engine.
Once you meet the captain in the harbor, you'll go through the safety and equipment briefing, and head out to your fishing spot. It will only take 10–20 minutes and you can start fishing. You'll mostly target Salmon, Cod, Lake Trout, Flounder, Pollock, and more. You can keep the catch if you want and the captain will clean it for you free of charge.
Capt. Justin will cover your fishing equipment and lures, while you need to bring proper clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, food, drinks, and a cooler. No license is needed for Norwegian saltwater.

A great half day trip with Justin. Not only a lot of fishing success, but also highly recommended with children - our 6 year old son had a lot of fun and Justin showed him perfectly how to do it! We also went to several places with different fishes for different techniques...
Very nice morning spent fishing on a gorgeus norvegian river. Cap. Justin was really helpful suggesting the right technique and the right spot for catching trouts

Granvin, Norway
Captain Justin grew up in California and moved to France as a pro skier when he was 7 years old. In opposite to skiing, his calmer side brings up his lifelong passion for fishing. He fished all around the world. Seven years ago, he moved to Norway, where he started fishing fjords. Soon after, he realized he wanted to do it professionally and started running charters. The best part of these trips is creating lifelong memories of fishing in Norway for his guests.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
