Your fun and friendly Skipper Malcolm Halstead is an experienced angler who'll do his best to make your time on the water exciting and memorable, whatever your skill level.
You'll be fishing from a comfy 18' Osprey boat that runs on a 150 HP Yamaha four stroke engine. She can fit up to 6 anglers, with up to 4 fishing at any one time. The boat is equipped with everything you'll need for a safe and productive journey.
There's a wide variety of fish species for you to go after all throughout the year. Some of these include Blue Cod, Sea Perch, Barracuda, Kahawai, and many more besides. Depending on what you go after, you can expect these trips to be anywhere within 5 miles of shore.
The price of any given trip includes the use of rods, reels, and terminal tackle, as well as fish cleaning, filleting & bagging up your catch services after the trip. If you're up for it, Capt. Malcolm can teach you how to clean the fish on your own. He can even recommend a local restaurant that will cook it.

Once one line was pulled up, bate was already put back on by Malcolm and it was time to send it back down. We caught heaps of yummy Perch and crayfish! Fantastic spots and we were accompanied by several Albatrosses and Mollymawks. Great experience, we definitely will be back.

We got a lot of fishes, such as sea perch, blue cod and hooked a shark surprisingly but disappointed about that we could not take away any crayfish. We fully support that crayfish babies and lay eggs female should be released to the nature. If we have one or two more chances to check another cages, some suitable sizes of crayfish might be find for us. The sizes of boat is relative small if comparing with my last trip in 2018. It is suitable for the maximum of 4 anglers to fish simultaneously. Overall, we were satisfied with the fishing trip and Captain Malcolm is always professional and helpful.
